It comfortably accommodates 6 adults and 2 small children. Our modern holiday apartment, featuring high-end amenities, is located on the top floor of a residential building on the outskirts of Dodenau. Dodenau is a popular health resort on the edge of the Sauerland region and near the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park. Premium hiking trails and a wildlife preserve are within walking distance.<br>The apartment features 3 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, an utility room, and a south-facing balcony.<br><br>Bedrooms:<br>The pink and yellow bedrooms are each equipped with a double bed, a closet, a chest of drawers, nightstands, bedside lamps, two chairs, a side table, a full-length mirror, a radio, and an alarm clock. A changing table is available in the pink bedroom if needed. A baby cot and an additional children’s bed can be added upon request.<br><br>The green bedroom features a bunk bed and a single bed. It comfortably accommodates 2 adults and 1 child. The room is also furnished with a closet, a desk, and a desk chair. <br><br>Living Room:<br>The living room features a large sofa set with a coffee table, a dining table, a writing desk, a display cabinet, a TV stand, a floor lamp, a stereo system, and satellite TV. A high chair can be provided upon request.<br>The balcony is accessible from the living room.<br>The balcony (south-facing) features six balcony chairs and a table. From here, you have a fantastic panoramic view.<br><br>Kitchen: <br>The modern kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, dishwasher, coffee maker, sandwich toaster, blender, and waffle iron. Additionally, there are plenty of cooking and baking utensils, dinnerware, and silverware for up to 8 people.<br>The kitchen features a table with four chairs.<br><br>Hallway:<br>The hallway features a coat rack area with guest slippers and another full-length mirror.<br><br>Utility Room:<br>The utility room is equipped with an ironing board, iron, clothes rack, laundry basket, clothes pegs, cleaning bucket, mop, vacuum cleaner, broom, and dustpan.<br><br>Bathroom I:<br>The bathroom is equipped with a large corner bathtub, shower, toilet, shelves, vanity cabinet, mirror cabinet, cosmetic mirror, shower stool, laundry bin, and hair dryer.<br>Bathroom II: <br>This bathroom is equipped with a toilet, shower, sink, vanity cabinet, mirror cabinet, cosmetic mirror, laundry bin, washing machine, and dryer. <br>For our youngest guests, a baby bathtub, toilet seat reducer, step stool, and potty are provided. A large supply of towels is available, as well as dressing gowns.<br><br>The large ball pit, which is set up when children are visiting, is extremely popular. <br>We also have a variety of age-appropriate toys and a children’s play corner for entertainment. <br>Current reading material for adults is available through a book exchange programme. Hiking maps are available for loan.<br>The holiday rental has large windows that can be darkened with exterior blinds. <br><br>From spring through fall, the Rothaar Mountains and the beautiful Eder Valley invite you to enjoy wonderful bike and motorcycle tours. Hikes on well-marked trails are possible year-round and have their own special charm in every season. <br>The heated outdoor pool is just a 4-minute walk away. A lovely children’s playground is within sight of the balcony. <br>During the winter months, you can visit various nearby ski resorts from Dodenau, such as Sackpfeife, Winterberg, and the surrounding area. Various cross-country skiing trails are available in the immediate vicinity of the village when weather conditions permit. <br>Dodenau is a beautifully situated village with good general and tourist infrastructure. In addition to various restaurants, the village has a bakery, a garden centre, a doctor’s office, and a Sparkasse ATM.
