Our stay at the Sea Crest Ocean Resort was amazing. The check in process was smooth. The staff was friendly and available for any additional needs. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Host was great to communicate with. The hotel was crowded but that's expected for the time of year. The bathroom (shower/toilet area) was a bit smaller than I expected but the room itself was very clean. Wonderful stay and the view was beautiful!

This is a get what you get situation. We were glad we got an early check in. We were only there for two days for a scheduled event in Myrtle Beach. Being an older couple, it wasn't really appropriate for us. We did not realize in choosing this resort it was more for younger families with little kids. If we were taking our grandkids, it would be excellent all the way. Not by any means, knocking the place. Just not really a good match for older adults. Our bad for not looking at the kid amenities more , we really focused on the room itself. For a family with young children it is excellent. Not that it's a bad thing, way more family friendly than an older couples thing.

The pool area was filthy. The was alcohol bottle being dropped off balconies and broken alcohol bottles on the pool deck NO towels available for guests. Hot tubs were cold, the kids pools had empty bar cups and trash in them. The water was murky and warm. The submarine play area was rusted in areas and was a safety issue. The beds in the rooms were hard as the floor and uncomfortable. The other guests were out of control setting off fireworks from their hotel balconies. When we called the front desk we were told that there wasn’t anything they can do due to being understaffed.
