Professionally cleaned and meticulously cared for, this beach-inspired house offers the best of both worlds: a cozy retreat and everything you need nearby—just a 2-min walk to a charming old theater, 3 min to restaurants and groceries, and 5–10 min to a rose garden by a canal and playgrounds. Galleria is 10-min drive away. Downtown Dallas, DFW, and Love Field Airports are all within 20 min drive. A beach house vibe—right in the heart of it all!

You will have full use of all rooms of the home - including the 2-car garage.

There is a locked supply closet for our Cleaners on the 2nd floor.

There is a locked Owner's Cabinet above the refrigerator.

Other things to note
Two regular sedans can be parked inside the garage. Larger or additional vehicles may use the parallel parking spots right outside the front door -- but only on the side against the townhouses, not against the fence. There is also a dedicated guest parking lot next to the mailboxes just on the other side of the building behind ours. There is additional parallel parking available on both side streets of the community.

All trash that is taken out must go in the black bin in the garage. The city issues citations for non-recyclables in the blue bin. The black bin and any additional closed trash bags that do not fit can be placed outside the garage door after 5:00 PM Monday for pickup sometime Tuesday morning or afternoon. The blue bin may not be put out at this time. Recyclables (as well as regular trash) may be placed out Thursday evening for Friday pickup.

I'm from small-town Texas just south of the Hill Country. Consulting work after college had me traveling full-time for 8 years, and I got to see most of the US as well as a few other countries. People are the most similar and also the most random part of any place, and I enjoy seeing what everyone is like and brings to a conversation. I am genuinely interested in other people and enjoy being a very active and engaged host, though I leave the actual decision to our guests on how much interaction they want. Many people simply want peace, quiet and space, and we are happy to give them that as well.

Why they chose this property

Farmers Branch is in the middle of so much, with excellent convenient access out in all directions! Less than a mile from the intersection of I-35E and 635, we're in the geographic center of the eastern 2/3 of DFW (so mid-cities over to Mesquite, and Oak Cliff up to Prosper). 635 and 121 also give us an easy straight-shot into Ft Worth. Since we've had the property, a whole shopping center has been developed right across the street with multiple restaurants, a brewery, a farmer's market, and more! It's also an easy walk (<5 min) to the Mustang Station of the DART light rail system, giving cheap access through most of Dallas, which is great for reaching crowded and low-parking areas like Fair Park during the State Fair.

What makes this property unique

This isn't just a house, it's the Home where we started our family. It was never an 'investment property' - and we started hosting guests because we couldn't bear to sell it when we moved to have more room for a growing family. We bought it before the developers had even broken ground, so every customization made was just ours. It has the best sound and temperature insulation I've ever seen in a property, and having 3 separate zones on the HVAC let every floor have a personal touch tailored to the moment.
