Complete Venetian villa with 4 separate living areas

Our lovingly restored house - with four separate living areas is located in the Venetian village of Kefalas, overlooking the well-known "lefka ori" (white mountains) and the sea of the Aegean Sea between Chania and Rethymnon in the west of Crete. From here you can take wonderful walks and excursions in all directions.

The village itself is around 800 years old with a special architecture of various influences and has been largely spared from tourism. It has two small taverns and traditional cafes, an organic and a supermarket, which can be reached on foot in 5 minutes with a walk through enchanted small alleys. The old-style house consists of four apartments and a spacious, shared idyllic courtyard with a large swimming pool with children's pool, various loungers, seats and a barbeque area. Furthermore, it has a large roof terrace with sun loungers. From here you have a wonderful view of the sea.

EQUIPMENT OF THE APARTMENTS:
Apartment Ela (Maisonette with fireplace - photos no. 6-8) approx. 65m² has a large open sleeping area with double bed (1.40m) in the open upper area and a living/dining area with kitchenette, fireplace and shower in the lower area. 2-4 people possible, but everything is open.

Apartment Pali (with balcony - photos no. 9-13) approx. 55m² has a bedroom with double bed (1.40m), a (children's) bedroom with a beautiful self-built loft bed (0.90x2m), a living/dining area with a small balcony, a small kitchenette with stove and refrigerator and a bathroom with shower tray and toilet. The sofa in the living room can also be used as a sleeping option if necessary. 2-3 adults and 2 children.

Apartment Stella ("old part" - photos no. 13-16) approx. 50m² has a sleeping area with double bed (1.40m) in the open upper area and a sleeping area with 2 beds (90cm each) below. From the living/dining area you can get into a beautiful large brand new bathroom. A large kitchen and sweet corner and dining area are also part of it. 4-5 people possible (with sofa in the living room, but all open). The separate shady small courtyard is the perfect place to eat and relax together.

Apartment "Bellina" has 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms, a modern kitchen and a spacious living area with an additional sofa bed.

LEISURE OPPORTUNITIES 3 km away from Kefalas towards Drapanos you will find a beautiful stone bay - called Ombroglialous - with crystal blue water and a small Cretan snack. The bay invites you to swim and dive and hides a rustic ("furnished") cave in the rock on the opposite side, which was used by pirates and rebels in earlier times and can only be reached by boat or canoe. The nearest beach - the famous Almiryda Bay - is about 7 km away, a little further away, the village of Kalives invites you to stroll and swim. At a distance of about 8 km on the other side of the mountain is the beautiful endlessly long sandy beach of Georgioupolis, which has both a very touristy and a lonely section. The city of Rethymno with bars, cafes, restaurants and numerous shops invites you to go shopping and sightseeing in an eastern direction about 25 km away. But also Chania - the old capital of the island - in about 28 km to the west is always worth a trip. There are many modern and very stylishly furnished bars and cafes along the promenade by the water, but also shops, restaurants and some sights.

We also offer boat trips with our large boat to different bays and caves. Snorkelling and diving trips are also in the program.
