Holiday home for up to 5 people on Lake Mönchneversdorf in Holstein Switzerland. We’d love to invite you to our small, cosy Scandinavian-style log cabin. Located right on Lake Mönchneversdorf in the beautiful natural setting of Holstein Switzerland and just about a 15-minute drive from the popular Baltic Sea resorts of Hohwacht, Grömitz, Neustadt, Pelzerhaken, and Weissenhäuser Strand, this is the ideal place for peace and quiet, but also for a variety of activities. The small town of Mönchneversdorf is located in the heart of East Holstein. Over 20 lakes teeming with fish, the beautiful beaches along the Baltic Sea, and great cities like Kiel, Lübeck, and Hamburg are all worth exploring on exciting day trips. There’s an incredible amount for families with children to experience, from the Donkey Park to Hansapark and the Galileo Adventure World on Fehmarn. For active guests, we provide two bicycles to explore the (for Northern Germans ;-)) challenging network of bike paths in East Holstein. Water sports enthusiasts can borrow our SUP board to paddle out on the Baltic Sea. In the shed, you’ll find even more gear for an active, relaxing holiday, such as table tennis paddles, balls, etc. A fishing licence is available on-site. Fishing in Mönchneversdorfer Lake is not permitted without a fishing licence. Food. Lodging. Entertainment. In the open living and kitchen area with a dining nook and Kaminofen.In the media corner, you can relax comfortably, watch TV, or stream shows. With the Wii game console, you can even get a little exercise ;-)At the touch of a button, the two-seater becomes more comfortable than any cinema seat and even has two charging stations for cell phones u.s.w.In the fully equipped kitchen, you can relax and prepare your favourite meals. Enjoy a cosy, delicious meal while gazing at the fire in the fireplace. That’s what I call “ Urlaub.In ”—you’ll find a few games in the dressers. The magical storyhouse of a children’s book author naturally also features a small but special reading nook. ;-)Sleeping Spaces 1+2Here you’ll find a cosy double bed (160 cm x 200 cm) for a well-deserved night’s sleep. A small workspace and a comfortable reading chair round out this cosy bedroom.Sleeping Spaces 3+4+5There are three sleeping options here. A single bed and a pull-out bed that sleeps two. The mattresses are each 90 cm x 200 cm. Since one bed can be slid under the other during the day, there’s plenty of room to play.The Bathrooms: Downstairs, there’s a full bathroom with a shower. Upstairs, there’s a second bathroom with a sink. To preserve the magic of the house, smoking is prohibited. You can even let off some steam on the small porch without getting your mouth dry. ;-) A terrace and plenty of green space round out the outdoor area. There’s a private parking spot on the property and additional public parking spots across the street. In the shed, you’ll find bicycles, a SUP board, patio furniture, games and sports equipment, and firewood.A final cleaning fee of 70€ is charged for each booking. Energy costs are included in the price. Optional extras: Linen package 15€ per person per booking—freshly made beds, towels, and washcloths. Dogs (€5 per night) are allowed only on the lower floor. Bicycles: €25 each per booking (starting in June 2023). A men’s 28-inch bike and a women’s 26-inch bike are available.Use at your own risk! Stand-up paddleboard: 25€ per booking. Unfortunately, our house is only partially accessible (steps, stairs) for people with limited mobility. If you’re interested, please just ask.
