The Burgblick apartment offers plenty of space for four people. The 45 square metres of living space include a bedroom with a 1.80-meter-wide double bed and a closet, a modern bathroom with a shower, a small bedroom with two single beds, a closet, and a nightstand, as well as a living/dining room with a fully equipped kitchen featuring a dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, and separate freezer. The couch—like all of our upholstered furniture—can be used as a sleeper and is 1.40 m wide. The apartment thus offers sleeping accommodation for up to six people. The dining table comfortably seats up to six people, and the cosy living area is equipped with a 27-inch flat-screen TV and satellite TV. From the balcony, you’ll enjoy a unique view of the Dobratsch and the Three-Country Corner.<br><br><br><br>Our house, which looks back on more than 500 years of history as a former farm, is located at an elevation of 850 m directly above Lake Faaker See in Altfinkenstein. Its quiet location, about three kilometres south of Latschach and in the immediate vicinity of the Altfinkenstein castle ruins, offers unique opportunities for excursions in the surrounding area. In 2014/2015, the entire house was renovated and modernised. We now offer three apartments ranging in size from 45 square metres to 140 square metres. High above the village, you can enjoy the mountain scenery in peace and seclusion. Up here, the rustling of the forests is one of the few sounds you’ll hear. Relax with us amidst forests, meadows, and pastures. The private road leading to our property ends right at our house, so you’ll have complete privacy up here, next to the adjacent farm. Just a ten-minute drive from Lake Faaker See, you can escape the daily grind here and start your holiday right away. Spread over two floors, we offer three apartments with fully equipped kitchens, including a dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, refrigerator, and separate freezer. Living rooms and bedrooms with flat-screen TVs, satellite TV, and Wi-Fi invite you to relax and unwind. All our apartments feature laminate flooring. The apartments’ individual styles—ranging from rustic to modern—leave nothing to be desired. High-quality furniture is just as much a part of the furnishings as cosy sofa nooks and spacious dining tables with comfortable chairs. All apartments feature completely redesigned, bright, and modern bathrooms with heated towel racks and showers. Bed linens and towels are provided in all apartments. Next to the house, you’ll find both a spacious lawn and an outdoor seating area where you can comfortably enjoy breakfast on wooden benches or have dinner as the sun sets. We also offer a fire pit, perfect for both barbecuing and enjoying a campfire against the breathtaking backdrop of the mountains. From the courtyard, you’ll enjoy an impressive view of the Dobratsch, the Dreiländereck, the surrounding mountain landscape, and the Mittagskogel. If you’d like to enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake, the lookout point is less than a three-minute walk from our house. From here, you can take in the view of Lake Faaker See and the surrounding villages in peace and quiet and enjoy the scenery undisturbed. Hiking trails leading into the surrounding mountains, to the castle ruins, or to the “Kanzianiberg” climbing area start right behind the house and open up the magnificent world of the Karawanken Mountains to you. Attractions and sights such as the Villach High Alpine Road, the Three-Country Corner, Lake Ossiach, Lake Wörthersee, the Gerlitzen Mountains, Hochosterwitz Castle, and Landskron Castle—with its birds-of-prey show—are all easily accessible by car.
