We are grateful for your feedback. Our staff is thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the home and we look forward to welcoming you back to our home soon.
Well equipped kitchen. Beautiful views. Easy to park and access in and out. Enjoyed the ambience of candles in the evening that was a plus. The cabin was lacking in cleanliness. We assumed it was a pet free property and dog hair was found.
We have stayed here multiple times and absolutely love this place. The owners have invested so much to make this the ultimate cabin rental property. They’ve listened to past comments: now overhead fans in the bedrooms, moved the bird feeder, cut down limbs to take advantage of that view, and a fully stocked kitchen. Every inch of this place was thoughtfully updated and considered. Their beds are so comfy, the only reason to get out of them is for that deck view. You can walk to the resort, summer concert series, and the brewery. We love this place and can’t wait till next summer’s concert series is released!
This place is amazing! The view is gorgeous and we actually walked down for lunch one day after skiing. So convenient!! They had everything we needed to cook with, the heaters worked great on cold nights and we had plenty of room for our whole family. I would definitely stay here again! The price was great for where we were located too!!

We are so grateful for your feedback and are thrilled that you enjoyed the home and that your stay was a great one. We are so looking forward to welcoming you back again soon!
We came for the slopes. Easy 5 minute walk to Beech Mountain Village. Nice heated foyer/mud room for storing & changing in & out of snow gear. Comfortable mountain home.
This home was even better than depicted in the photos. The views are stunning! The house felt cozy, comfortable and relaxing. It could easily accommodate 3 couples and children. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens luxurious. It was decorated nicely with comfortable furnishings. I just wish it had a bathtub. Regardless I look forward to many return trips.
Had a wonderful time with family at this cozy, comfortable mountain home. The kitchen was amazingly supplied with anything and everything you need for cooking. The porch was a dream with serene Mountain Views. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. There is a washer/dryer and extra kitchenette on the lower level for extra storage.
We are so grateful for your business and the feedback. Its our sincerest hope to welcome you again to our home in the very near future.
About the host
Hosted by Nick Reuter
Hi! I'm Nick, and along with my wife Kathi and our three amazing kids, we split time between sunny gulf-coast Florida and the beautiful North Carolina mountains. We moved south from Massachusetts back in 2017, but the Blue Ridge Mountains quickly captured our hearts! There's nothing better than knowing our guests are making memories in a place that means so much to our family. We're hands-on, responsive, and always just a message away to make sure your stay is perfect!
Why they chose this property
Beech Mountain is the highest town east of the Mississippi, and the moment you arrive, you'll understand why we fell in love with it! There's something magical about being perched at 5,506 feet, where the air is cooler, the stars shine brighter, and the views stretch on forever. This isn't just a mountain getaway, it's a four-season wonderland.
In winter, the village transforms into a snow-lover's paradise. Beech Mountain Resort is just minutes away, offering skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing, while the town itself feels like a cozy alpine escape, all twinkling lights, hot cocoa, and crisp mountain air.
Come summer, the same slopes turn into epic mountain biking trails, and the cooler high-elevation temperatures make it the perfect escape from the summer heat below. Hiking trails wind through lush forests, wildflowers bloom along the ridgelines, and the pace of life slows down in the best possible way.
What we love most is the authentic mountain town charm woven through it all. Beech Mountain has a tight-knit, welcoming community feel, with local shops, scenic overlooks, and outdoor adventure around every corner. Yet you're still just minutes from Banner Elk's boutiques and restaurants, and a short drive from Boone, Blowing Rock, and Grandfather Mountain.
It's the perfect blend of seclusion and accessibility: peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature, while still close to everything you need. Once you experience a sunset from up here, you'll understand why we never wanted to leave!
What makes this property unique
Beech Mountain Place isn't just another mountain rental, it's a true four-season basecamp with the rare combination of two full living spaces, two full kitchens, and unbeatable proximity to the slopes. At just 0.3 miles from Beech Mountain Resort, you can be on the lift in minutes, no long drives, no hassle, just pure mountain access.
What really sets this home apart is its dual-level design. The main floor offers an elevated, light-filled retreat with a wall of windows framing sweeping views, a stacked-stone fireplace, and a spacious deck made for sunset dinners. Head downstairs, and you'll find an entirely separate living area with its own kitchen, TV, games, and deck, perfect for multi-generational families or groups who want both togetherness and privacy.
We also designed this home with real mountain life in mind: a dedicated mudroom-style space for ski boots and hiking gear, a cozy fire pit for stargazing and wildlife watching, and a cornhole-ready lower deck for laid-back evenings. It's the kind of layout that makes a week-long ski trip or a summer biking getaway feel effortless.
And then there's the location itself. Being on the highest mountain town in the Eastern US means cooler summers, snowier winters, and views you simply can't find at lower elevations, plus easy access to Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain, and Grandfather Mountain for even more adventure.
Simply put, Beech Mountain Place blends comfort, convenience, and character in a way that makes every stay feel like a true mountain escape.
