Loved Our Stay

The communication with the owner was first class from start to finish. The apartment was small but perfect for our needs. It was well equipped from kitchen to bedrooms and bathroom. It’s was spotlessly clean on arrival. The beds were comfortable, however, a harder pillow would have been appreciated. That said that’s a minor recommendation. We made use of the washer in the basement which was very useful and the owner supplied us with an airer to dry our clothes. Recommendations would be access to some English speaking TV channels, however, we did make good use of the Netflix package during our stay. Air conditioning would have been appreciated, whilst there was a standing fan available, even with all the windows open in the apartment it was still very warm. We were kept awake some nights by noise from people in the next building, however, this is outwith the control of the owner, just something to be aware of. The location was very good, an 8 minute walk from the station and only slightly further to the city centre with bars and restaurants. All in all we enjoyed our stay in this Essen apartment and would definitely recommend it.

Guter Ausgangspunkt zum Entdecken des Ruhrgebietes

Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Wohnung ist ausreichend ausgestattet und liegt ziemlich zentral und damit günstig für die Nutzung der meisten Verkehrsmittel. Nicht weit davon haben wir einen kleinen Platz mit Kneipen gefunden, wo wir nach unseren Ausflügen unter großen Bäumen den Abend genießen konnten.

Super Aufenthalt!

Sehr nah an der Straße aber wenn die Fenster zu waren hat man kaum was gehört. Hinten im Schlafzimmer auch nicht! Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war super! Wir hatten kurzzeitig Probleme und er kam nach Absprache nicht mal 2 Minuten später zu uns.
