I was born and raised in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, spent several years in Phoenix, Arizona, and now split my time between Sioux Falls and Yankton helping out with this family-owned and -operated business!
Why they chose this property
I grew up with my family spending summer weekends in Yankton at the Lewis & Clark lake area camping and boating. We had the opportunity to take over DJ's Resort & Rentals last year and it was a fitting adventure for our family. We love all the beauty of the state recreational area, the hustle and bustle of the busy summers and the peace and quiet in the wintertime.
What makes this property unique
This property is unique because we offer stay-and-play all in one spot. Each unit at the resort has it's own unique theme and decor and they all offer their own little perks and quirks, like the western theme of this unit. Guests can make the most out of their stay in the summertime by getting in on our rentals fun too! Spend the day out on a boat, an afternoon on an e-bike, or enjoy the sunset on our kayaks. We'll do all the heavy lifting for you so you can kick back and enjoy a worry-free vacation.
