I reserved the room for our son & wife, who were celebrating their honeymoon. Communication was top drawer. Prompt as well as helpful. When the kids returned home they said the room was a perfect location which allowed them to enjoy the area. Thank you for helping me surprise them!

The property features a beautiful view of the Illinois in Mississippi rivers is right across from the Grafton oyster bar, which features excellent food so local dining is a plus. The shower and bath tub accommodations are very nice with plenty of hot water. If you’re seeking silence and solitude, this is probably not the place for you as it is very close to the nightlife in Grafton. We had a great experience, saw deer, chipmunks, and all kinds of birds that were able to feed right off. The deck overall was very nice and we plan to be back in the future.

Great room, but directions for getting to it were horrible. Map showed it in location not close to its actual location and when called for help, not much help either. Turn on Mulberry next to Grafton winery, as climb bluff Clifton will be on your right midway up, and you’ll be there. If we had those instructions could have saved a 1/2 hour of looking for it. Lots of room, very clean, not particularly fond of sliding barn door on bathroom, but figured its trick to stay closed eventually. Walk up the hill from Main Street a chore as well. View of the confluence is great. Several nice places right below.

Everything was great. Very good location for food and night life with a great view of the river. We were able to walk almost everywhere. There is a big hill to walk back up to get to it so we kept the walking back up to a minimum but it is doable. Only issue was someone trying to get into our room. They did not succeed since everyone has their own code. I cannot say if that was a communication error with them or the host for sure but definitely freaked me out for a minute. We will definitely be back but will always make sure our doors are locked. The weather was perfect and made for wonderful balcony sitting. Best weekend getaway!

While sitting in the rockers on the deck, we could watch the ferry, the other boats and barges on the water and people going in & out of the bars & restaurants on the river front.
