The views of the mountains and the lake were absolutely beautiful, and the private dock was a wonderful bonus. We were able to dock my son’s jet ski there. Missy was incredibly accommodating and easy to communicate with. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

I was born and raised right here in Sevier County, and my roots run deep. My family has called these mountains home for generations, with ancestors who settled portions of what is now the Great Smoky Mountains National Park long before it became a national treasure. Growing up here gave me a deep appreciation for our community, our traditions, and the incredible natural beauty that surrounds us every day. I truly believe this is one of the most beautiful places in the world, and I’m proud to share a small piece of it with others. Whether it’s recommending a local hidden gem or simply helping guests experience the Smokies beyond the typical tourist attractions, I love showcasing the place I’ve always been fortunate enough to call home.

Why they chose this property

My neighborhood is tucked away in one of the quieter parts of the county, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas. This is a low-population, primarily residential community where you’ll experience minimal traffic, plenty of privacy, and the relaxing atmosphere that makes lake living so special. While you’re just a short drive from the attractions, restaurants, and shopping in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg, you’ll return each evening to a secluded setting where you can truly unwind and enjoy nature. If you’re looking for a slower pace and a more authentic Smoky Mountain experience, you’ll feel right at home here.

What makes this property unique

I chose this property because it offers something that's becoming harder and harder to find in the Smokies: peace, privacy, and character. It's an older lake home with a unique charm and history that you just don't get from newly built cabins. Rather than being stacked right beside dozens of other rentals, it's tucked away in the woods where you can truly unplug and enjoy the beauty of
your surroundings. You're still close enough to enjoy everything Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg have to offer, but at the end of the day, you can come back to a place that feels secluded, relaxing, and genuinely peaceful. I fell in love with its character and charm and the slower pace it offers.
