This vacation home in Rjukan is the ideal vacation destination for long and short hikes as well as exciting tours by mountain bike in the charming mountains of Norway. When you enter, you will immediately feel a warm, cozy cottage feeling. Here you have landed in a real feel-good place! The dining table invites you to a fun afternoon of games or game night with treats. In the evening, snuggle into the cushions on the sofas and chat about your Gaustatoppen mountain tour tomorrow. You can prepare the evening snacks in the well-equipped kitchen. A dreamy mountain landscape with hiking trails and MTB routes await you on the doorstep.

The hike to the top of the mountain, Gaustatoppen, is one of the most popular in Norway, and the views from the top are phenomenal. You can also take the cable car inside the mountain to the top if your legs can't handle the hike. If you want to hike to the top, Stavsro is the most popular starting point. There are several different hiking trails that all lead to the summit. So both families with children and experienced mountain hikers can find a route they enjoy. A second highlight for mountain hikers is also provided by Hulderhola Cave.
