The 3 room apartment 60 m2 is just new renovated and part of a 5 apartment house. The flat is made to use for couples or small family with max. 2 kids. We offer one room with a queen size bed and a room divided to a wooden sliding door with a bed sofa for one adult ore two kids. The house is placed in Grindelwald on the sunny hillside and offers a perfect panorama view. Next to the Eiger North face and to the Wetterhorn. Vis-à-vis the Mänlichen and the Kleine Scheidegg. There is a bus station direct in front of the house.
The construction is made in high standard and encloses massif parquet, decorative wooden and stone structural elements. There is a sleeping room with queen size bed 160cm and an additional davenport in the second room which can be separated with sliding doors. Bathroom with bath tube/shower wash. With beautiful terrace 14 m2, laundry on the ground floor and garage for one car in house.
This apartment with natural materials gives a comfortable and cozy ambience and convenient for two persons.

Great location!

No complaints about the apartment! Very clean and great location. We struggled with the stove and oven as we are from the USA, but with a few YouTube videos we figured it out! We would definitely stay here again!

Swiss vacation

Excellent apartment location away from the crowds. Fully furnished with beautiful balcony view of Eiger. Absolutely stunning views of mountains. The hosts provide great amenities with fresh fruits on arrival. All kitchen items exceeded expectations. We are so grateful for enjoying a month at this lovely apartment. Hosts were very helpful to address any concerns or issues. Great bus service into town. Absolutely fantastic time.

Le meilleur hébergement à Grindewald!

Ce logement est vraiment de qualité supérieure, tout est très propre et très bien équipé. Nous y avons séjourné 10 jours pour faire de la randonnée et c’était parfait. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture dans le garage. L’arrêt d’autobus pour descendre à Grindewald est gratuite et l’arrêt est à 5 minutes à pied. Les hôtes ont été très réactifs à nos demandes et nous ont donné toutes les formations nécessaires. Vraiment un logement de luxe! Merci à Franz et Diane

Wow what a view

Lovely clean well equipped flat. Views to die for. Wait 10 minutes and it’s all change. Had trouble opening the door to get in - only to realise we were using the wrong key. Put that down to a senior moment. I suppose the way to judge a property is “would you come here again” Without a doubt that’s a big Yes. Many thanks for letting us rent you lovely flat

Amazing space, stunning views

We stayed at Frank’s apartment for a week in late April and early May. It is just like the photos and the proximity to the Eiger, Monch, Wetterhorn, and Jungfrau is amazing. The views are spectacular. Just a short drive or 5 minute bus ride up the hill from Grindelwald. Beautiful space with everything you need including a full kitchen and spices. Very comfortable bed. We hope to be back, especially in sunnier/warmer weather!

Perfect in every way!

The location of this Vrbo is enough to want to stay there. My wife and I loved our day excursions to the whole region but this cute apt was just a fun to come back to each evening. The unit is very updated and has a perfect view of the mountains and of all of Grindelwald. You will not be disappointed at all!

Amazing Views

The property has wonderful amenities and a spectacular view. Every day we opened all the windows and door to enjoy the view from every angle of the living room, dining room and kitchen. We sat on the balcony and watched sunsets and stars. The bus stop is located just 4 minutes from the property. The one thing to mention is the apartment is on the third floor and you must go up stairs. Great location away from the busy downtown area, yet still very close, just a 10 minute bus ride. Quiet and peaceful location. Franz and Diane provided excellent check in and check out instructions with additional local resources. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute of this location.

Great Stay in a cozy mountain retreat, with an amazing view

Enjoyed a very nice, clean apartment, with a wonderfully stocked small kitchen - perfect for making meals - breakfast and dinner and enjoying them on the balcony with the serene views of the Eiger:) Nice choices of herbs as well as dishes and pans to be able to use the kitchen and enjoy. The owners were very detailed with information and responsive to our questions and needs. The local bus passes were a nice extra as well. Appreciated very much, and enjoyed the area very much.

Perfect apartment in a perfect surrounding

It was absolutely perfect. The apartment had everything we needed and was a very good place to come home to after a beautiful day in nature. It overlooked the valley and the mountains. Franz and Diane were also easy to reach and were very helpful. It was definitely an amazing stay.

Prachtig appartement op fantastische plek

Het is een fantastisch appartement, zeer compleet met werkelijk alle gemakken voorzien. Het terras biedt een fantastisch uitzicht op de bergen en de aanwezige kabelbanen in Grindelwald. De bus is vlakbij en brengt je gratis met de gastenkaart naar Grindelwald, het startpunt voot prachtige, indrukwekkende berguitsapjes.

Meine Frau und ich haben der Urlaub in dieser traumhaften Landschaft sehr genossen. Das Appartement hat den idealen Standort für Unternehmungen in der Jungfrauregion und dem Berner Oberland. Es war immer eine Freude nach den Unternehmungen in das schöne Domizil zurückzukehren und die letzten Sonnenstrahlen auf dem großen Balkon mit Blick auf die Berge zu genießen. Sowohl das geschmackvolle Ambiente der Wohnung als auch die praktische Einrichtung der Küche haben uns begeistert. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Dank auch an Franz für den freundlichen Kontakt.

Million dollar views

This apartment is well equipped and beautifully furnished with unbelievable views. The location is best for those with cars. The buses run every hour but stops early in the evening which means you have no way back home at night. The hike is uphill about 2 miles. It definitely takes some planning unless you love to hike everywhere. The distance from town does offer some peace away from the busy town.

Beautiful quiet location with spectacular views

We spent 12 days in this lovely apartment which is situated a few minutes drive from the town centre. Lovely quiet location with the best mountain views you could possibly imagine. We will miss our time sitting on the balcony for breakfast and our evening drinks. The apartment was extremely clean and warm with a very well equipped kitchen. Thank you Franz and Diane

Schöne Wohnung in optimaler Lage zum Wandern in Grindelwald und Umgebung. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Kommunikation mit den Eigentümern lief problemlos. Ein Stern Abzug, weil die Heizung nicht richtig funktionierte und uns die Durchschnittstempetatur von unter 20 Grad zu kalt war. Aber man arbeitet daran ...

Lovely place, lovely stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this apartment! Located about 1 km from busy Grindelwald Dorf, but within meters from a bus stop it, it is perfect for anyone wanting to experience a bit more of an authentic experience of a Swiss alpine chalet. We prepared our own meals in the small, updated and very well stocked kitchen (even the knives were sharp -one of my pet peeves) and enjoyed our meals with wonderful views. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bus stop is less than 3 minutes away and an easy ride to the local Coop market in the village and also very convenient to get to gondolas and hiking trails. We were sad to leave!
