I purchased this home in 1989 from my sister, 6 weeks prior to Hurricane Hugo! I have done major renovations over the years.. I retired as an Assistant Principal in 2003 and have been a Realtor since then.

Location was great except for busy street out front.
Loved the pool and we had perfect weather. Spacious house. Owner was nice and accessible if needed.
Truly Paradise at the beach
Our stay at this place was truly amazing. The pictures do not give this place justice. It has southern charm and all the comforts of home. Very clean and comfy. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need to prepare meals for your family. The dining room has the charm of your grandmother ‘s place. The bedrooms and baths are beautiful. The living room is nice with the beautiful sunsets. The porch has its own wrap around couch to snuggle up in to watch a movie or play games. It leads out to the patio and pool area where you will have a blast. It’s a quick walk to the beach. I can’t say enough on how much our family enjoyed ourselves. We did not want to leave. We will be back!

Relaxing island getaway
We had a fabulous time at Dar’s place! The layout was great for families. Lots of nooks and crannies to hang out in. The adults loved sitting under the string lights poolside at night. The sunroom was also nice as an extra living space to hang out in. Walk to the beach was just short enough to be enjoyable. Walkable to a few restaurants, shops and ice cream. The pool was wonderful for our stay since a hurricane was down south the storm surge left us with no beach at high tide and very strong winds. On the sound side at the house though it was gorgeous and perfect! Everything was lovely and we hope to return!

enjoyed our stay. only suggestion is that she create a list of channels that she actually gets so you dont have to weed thru the ones that she doesnt. picky, right? lol. nice lady. nice place.
