About this property

Serene Riverfront house in Mountain View

Escape to this spacious two-level home with a finished walk-out basement, situated directly on the scenic White River. Whether you’re visiting Mountain View for trout fishing, hiking, biking, kayaking, swimming, enjoying local festivals, or simply unwinding, this riverfront retreat offers stunning views and a welcoming atmosphere. With plenty of room for a large family or group of friends, it’s the ideal home base for your getaway. This home offers a cozy and comfortable stay with modern touches throughout. Built into the side of a hill, it features two levels—one visible from the front and two from the back—offering a unique layout and stunning views. Enjoy the scenery year-round from the spacious sunroom or the screened-in porch, perfect for relaxing in any season. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with a mix of vacation homes and full-time retirees, the setting provides plenty of peace, privacy, and a true escape from the hustle and bustle. Guests will have access to all areas of the home with the exception of the locked owners closet and shed. For your safety and ours, there is one security camera on exterior front porch facing front yard/ driveway. We are in walking distance to Jack's & JoJo's. There you can have a convenient quick dinner or rent a boat for a nice day out on the water. This part of the White River is quite beautiful but isn't accessible or swimmable. Swimming holes and fishing areas are located at the boat ramp just down the street as well as the Sylamore Creek via Blanchard Springs National Park, Rosa hole, Gunners Pool etc.

What makes this property unique

Whether you’ve come to cast a line in the White River, explore the beauty of the Ozarks, or simply slow down and spend time with the people you love, we hope this home feels like a place where you can truly relax.

Riverhouse has become one of our favorite places to unplug from everyday life. We love quiet mornings with coffee in the enclosed patio, evenings around the fire pit, watching bald eagles drift above the river, and hearing the distant train cross the bridge. Those simple moments are what make this place special.
