Hejlsminde on the Little Belt is surrounded by beautiful nature. In the village is a beautiful marina. In the surrounding area there are good cycling and hiking trails that lead through a beautiful nature. Not far from Hejlsminde are Skamlingsbanken and Christiansfeld (honey cake, tiled stoves and salami). Kolding also offers many experiences for children's families and art enthusiasts. For example, visit the Trapholt Museum or the great play park, which is free. Also a large shopping center in Kolding invites you to stroll.
