This was a perfect oasis just a little way away from the chaos of my event. Nice big bathtub. Spotless clean, great bed. The entertainment area outside with a view was great for me to decompress. I found cheap easy parking not too far away, and used the Lime rentals to tear around the city. 100% a pleasure in all aspects.
Stayed here a week for an event around Little Tokyo. It was a great choice - close to where we needed to be, comfortable, and plenty of room for two people to spread out and do our own things in our down time. The location was very convenient - one block from the metro station and another short block to the Japanese Village Plaza. Close to lots of wonderful restaurants - both in Little Tokyo and the Arts District. For quicker food options we got take-out bento (box meals) from the Japanese supermarkets in the area and brought them back to the apartment. It was nice to have a full kitchen so we could keep a supply of fresh food and drinks on hand. The apartment has a nice vibe - subtle chic decor and comfortable furniture. The king bed felt like some kind of foam mattress? We slept great. Everything was clean and easy to find. Good natural light too. (And light blocking drapes for when you don't want that.) It was nice to open the windows in the evenings for fresh cool air. There is significant traffic noise, especially with the windows open. It didn't bother us, but if you're not used to it, maybe bring sleep earplugs. The building and the walking route to it from Little Tokyo are clean and nice. Apparently parts of this area are less nice, but this part is good. The building entrance has excellent security and access is easy. We'd definitely stay here again. It wasn't the cheapest option, but the convenience (with no rental car expense!) made it a clear win.
