Our "Heimelig" holiday rental is located in the beautiful mountain village of Schillingen, surrounded by forests.
You can explore the magnificent surroundings on well-marked hiking trails, scenic loops (the Schillinger Panoramaweg), and bike paths.

The holiday rental is located near the Schillingen Recreation Centre, which features a lake (also for fishing), a restaurant with a children’s playground, a nature trail, a tree maze, and a barefoot trail. The Sieben-Köpfe-Blick observation tower is also located along the way there. An outdoor swimming pool can also be found in the immediate vicinity.
Schillingen is approximately 36 km from the Luxembourg border; Trier (Germany’s oldest city, home to the Porta Nigra World Heritage Site) on the Moselle River is about 23 km away by car. Trips to Saarburg (with its waterfall) or to the Saar Loop in Mettlach are also well worth it. The nearby town of Kell am See (about 4 km) is also worth a visit.
The town of Schillingen has a bakery, a fresh produce market, a deli, and a restaurant.
Of course, there is parking available for your car right in front of the house. Bicycles can also be stored in the garage upon request. 



Apartment, shower or bathtub, toilet, non-smoking:

Our holiday apartment, located in the attic, features a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a living/dining room, and a bedroom, and has a total area of 78 m²; if there are more than 2 guests, an additional bedroom located one floor below can be booked (25 m²).
The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, oven, ceramic cooktop, refrigerator with freezer, dishwasher, as well as a coffee maker (Senseo), toaster, and electric kettle.
The bathroom has a bathtub with a shower rod, an urinal, a toilet, and a bidet. Towels are included in the rental price.
The bedroom features a 1.60 m wide double bed (including bedding).
The terrace, located one floor below, is available for use on the right-hand side.
On this floor, there is also a second bedroom with a 1.60 m wide bed, which is available when booking for more than 2 people. A cosy reading nook rounds out the ambiance.

 



On-site costs: The price for the holiday rental is €70 per day per unit for up to 2 guests (including electricity, water, and final cleaning). Each additional person (up to a maximum of 4 people) costs an extra €20.



Check-in is available from 3:00 PM to midnight, and check-out from 11:00 AM to midnight.
