Day trips to Hunderfossen Eventyrpark, Maihaugen Open Air Museum and Lilleputthammer Family Park as well as paddling on Gudbrandsdalslågen are a super idea for families with children. A hike on Nevelberg offers views of Øyer, Nordseter and Sjusjøen.
