This home is new to the VRBO for October 2026, but we are not. Please message me to access the over 227 5-star reviews we have received over the past eight years of being "premier short-term hosts".
Welcome to The Hydeout. We are thrilled to have you as our guests for your next vacation to Hyde County, NC. Engelhard is a quaint fishing and farming village. It is well known for fishing, hunting and bird watching.
The Hydeout is a well maintained 3 Bedroom 2 Bath Home located on a spacious half acre lot. The kitchen is modern and has everything you need for the chef in your group. Cute dining nook with a bar height dining set for gathering. The living room has a new plush Ashley sofa with electric recliners on each end. It also has a newer Flexsteel love seat with two electric recliners. There is a 55” Samsung Smart TV in the living room. For your convenience we have an LG washer and dryer located just down the hallway. The Master bedroom has a new Sterns & Foster Luxury King Size Mattress and a 32-inch Roku Smart TV. There is a full bathroom located in the Master bedroom. Bedrooms 2 & 3 are almost identical. They each have a newer twin size mattress and are both close to a full bathroom.
This home is located on a quiet dead end gravel road spaced a good distance from other homes. Road is surrounded by farmland.
COMING WITH A BOAT? No problem! Please see picture of boat parking area near house.
We have Starlink Internet at the Hydeout. Watch TV on any of the free apps or sign in to watch your own apps as well.
Central AC & Heat with ceiling fans located in the Living Room and Master Bedroom.
