Overall the property was nice. The amenities were pretty bare, no napkins. The make you use this boarding pass app for check in which was annoying but other than that it was pretty smooth.

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing due to several cleanliness and maintenance issues. When I arrived, there were dead roaches lying throughout the floor even though the property was supposedly cleaned before my arrival. The property itself was fairly dirty, and one of the door handles was broken. The remotes also did not work, and I had to purchase batteries myself just to try to get them working.The pool was also not properly maintained and appeared dirty. During my stay, I developed cellulitis after using the pool and ultimately had to be hospitalized for approximately 24 hours because my arm became severely swollen. I contacted the host to explain my concerns and what had happened. Prior to this, the host had repeatedly messaged me asking me to leave a review, but after I brought up the problems with the property and my hospitalization, I never received a response.I understand that not everything can be perfect, and some maintenance issues by themselves would not necessarily warrant a negative review. However, when you combine the roaches, cleanliness issues, broken door handle, non-working remotes, having to purchase batteries myself, the condition of the pool, and especially the serious health issue I experienced afterward, the overall stay was extremely disappointing. I expected the property to be clean, properly maintained, and safe for guests.
