Quiet, comfortable, and pleasant — we would stay again.

We often use VRBO and similar sites to book vacation rentals, and Lighthouse Retreat made our visit enjoyable. We had no issues with the property and would gladly stay here again.

This house worked out very good for us! It had 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a front room area with a couch & tv, and a living room area adjacent to the kitchen with another couch & tv. The kitchen had good space and everything worked perfectly.There was also a washer & dryer in the attached garage if we needed them.The location was a short drive (10 mins?) to the Arcata Plaza and shopping area.There was also a market (Murray's) that was a quick 1-2 minute drive to pick up anything we might have needed.We also liked that it was close to highway entrances and, though we weren't there for the University, it was a short drive to that as well.We would stay there again.

Great place! Clean and welcoming home. Had everything we needed. Plenty of space for everyone, two living rooms, comfortable couches, nice outside space. When we come back over we will check to see if the home is available again!

This property was great for us in terms of space, layout and location. The house is located within a few minutes drive of Cal Poly Humboldt and downtown Arcata. There are two large sitting areas (living room and family room) so the house feels spacious. Having access to the 2-car garage was a great bonus since we could store our trailer and bikes inside. We found the neighborhood to be quiet and safe.The house was easy to access, very clean, and well supplied. Having a newer washer/dryer was helpful. Water pressure can be a small challenge so we avoided running two showers at the same time. Otherwise, everything was perfect and we would stay there again!

Cute and clean house

Great stay on this cute property. The house was super clean, all except the master shower. The garden was blooming and had ripe raspberries to pick, the pictures don’t do justice to how charming the garden is. Rob, the property manager was very communicative and friendly. Very homey and comfortable!

Great!

We enjoyed it very much! I didn’t realize from the listing that it had two living rooms and two big couches—that was a nice surprise. Had everything we needed minus Kleenexes. Hot water, comfy beds, ice, and plenty of towels/wash cloths. Enjoyed the sky lights for the natural light. Would recommend!
