Enjoy the peace and quiet and the incomparable views right behind the old Eider dike. Just beyond the dike lies the "Katinger Watt" nature reserve, a recreational area on the former seabed that’s perfect for walking, biking, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and surfing.


Also nearby are a farm stand and the NABU’s Lina-Hähnle-Haus. The Nature and Biodiversity Conservation Union (NABU) regularly organises guided tours and excursions.

Wenn jemand völlige Abgeschiedenheit sucht um endlich mal innerlich zur Ruhe zu kommen ist das der beste Ort dazu. Stille, Einsamkeit Eins mit der Natur werden alles hier möglich. Allerdings nebenan eine Schankwirtschaft mit unverschämt guten Kuchen, also nichts fürs Abnehmen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist wundervoll, idyllisch gelegen, umgeben von Wiesen und Feldern, dem Deich mit seinem Naturschutzgebiet. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und gut ausgestattet! Besonders in der Küche ist eine umfangreiche Grundausstattung vorhanden. Man kann direkt ankommen. Und wenn man etwas leert, kauft man es einfach nach. Das erlebt man heute selten. Funktionierende Fliegengitter gibt es auch! Der Weg zum Badestrand St. Peter Ording dauert mit Auto ca. 20 Minuten. Man muss allerdings wissen, dass St. Peter Ording aktuell die Gästekarte aus Tönning nicht akzeptiert, so dass man ggf. extra zahlen muss. Vielen Dank für die unkomplizierte Vermietung! Durch einen Schlüsseltresor ist man beim Ankommen flexibel.
