Haus Heck is an end-of-row townhouse in our small holiday complex, “Mein Fleckchen Rügen,” located in a quiet village setting near the water. It has its own entrance off the large terrace. We’ve let the hedges grow a bit taller, so you’ll have a view across the 13,600-square-meter property while still enjoying pleasant privacy. On the ground floor, the house features a loft-style living, dining, and kitchen area—which boasts historic exposed beams—as well as the bathroom and toilet. The two bedrooms are located on the upper floor.

The accommodation
The super-comfortable 3-seater designer sofa (BRÜHL) can be converted into a full-size double bed in just a few simple steps by lowering the backrests (extra bed available for an additional fee for groups of 4 or more). Across from it is a cosy two-seater armchair (BRETZ). With the rustic dining set and the original watercolours featuring local scenes, you’ll feel right at home from the very first minute. If you like to bring work along on holiday—or even just to plan excursions—you’ll appreciate the new workspace (not yet photographed). The little cottage across from your terrace is not available for rent. It serves as a storage area for items such as high chairs, patio furniture… and your strollers or bicycles.

Bedroom 1 on the upper floor is furnished with a wide double bed (solid wood) and a cot. The sweeping view from the dormer windows—over the garden shed, across the pastures, and all the way to the gentle hills bordering the Bodden—is breathtaking. In the evenings, you can count the stars in the clear sky. There’s no light pollution on Rügen.
Bedroom 2 has two wooden single beds, one of which can provide an additional sleeping space thanks to a pull-out mattress drawer. There is also a large closet here.

Please bring your own towels and bedding (sheets, pillowcases, typically 1.35 m wide x 2 m long). Unfortunately, there is no good and affordable laundry service in the West Rügen area.
If you’d prefer to pack lighter, however, our service can provide bed linens and towels (unmade).
The cost for providing the linens is:
€15 per person for a bed linen set per stay.
€10 per person for a towel set (hand towel, bath towel) per stay.
You’ll then receive a payment request via Airbnb.

Your children will feel right at home. The spacious property features a playground with a slide, swings, playhouses, and a large play area.

For the adults, there’s plenty of space for sunbathing and quiet spots to relax with a good book. The large, partially covered barbecue area is available to all guests and not only offers shelter from a shower but also lets you keep an eye on your children as they play and enjoy the golden sunset over the Moritzhagen hill in the evening.

Guest Access
Once we receive your booking, we’ll contact you. You’ll receive the current code to open the key safe next to the front door of your booked house via email approximately 5–10 days before your arrival.

Note
Our houses are equipped with permanently installed mosquito screens. In midsummer on Rügen, it’s advisable to use mosquito repellent when outside during sunset.
