Escape to Bearfoot Getaway, a cozy cabin tucked away in the beautiful Ozarks of Southeast Missouri. Whether you’re looking for a quiet weekend away, a fishing trip, an outdoor adventure, ride the SXS trails along Black River, or simply a place to unplug, Bearfoot Getaway gives you the perfect place to slow down and enjoy the outdoors. We are 3 miles from Bluff View Marina and 2 miles from upper black river

The cabin sleeps up to 4 guests with 1 bedroom and 1 bathroom, plus a comfortable sleeper sofa. After a day exploring, relax on the porch swing, gather around the private fire pit, or fire up the BBQ grill and enjoy an evening under the stars.

🔥 Your stay includes firewood, so you can spend less time worrying about supplies and more time enjoying your getaway.

You’re just minutes from the Black River and Clearwater Lake, making Bearfoot Getaway a great home base for fishing, boating, hiking, kayaking, or simply enjoying everything the area has to offer.

There’s some construction happening on the property as we continue making improvements and progressing toward creating an even better guest experience. Please stay out of the work area for your safety. It’s off limits to guests and shouldn’t be entered at any time.

Playground is not set up at this time, please avoid this area.

The camper area is solely used by the owners.

Bearfoot Getaway isn’t just a place to stay—it’s a place to get away. We are SXS friendly and can point you in the direction of hours of trail riding along Upper Black River.

We chose this area because there’s something special about being able to slow down, enjoy the outdoors, and still be part of a welcoming small-town community.

Piedmont is a wonderful small community where people still take pride in their town and look out for one another. We love the friendly atmosphere, the slower pace of life, and the feeling that you’re welcomed here like a neighbor rather than just a visitor.

We’re also surrounded by some of the best things Southeast Missouri has to offer — the beautiful Black River, Clearwater Lake, abundant wildlife, scenic countryside, and plenty of opportunities for fishing, hiking, exploring, and enjoying the outdoors.

We wanted to create a place where families, couples, friends, fishermen, and outdoor enthusiasts could escape the everyday hustle and make memories together.
