The holiday apartments are located in a historic former farmhouse that is a landmark of the village, situated in the centre of Brekling on Lake Langsee. The house was built around 1920, and the holiday apartment was completely renovated and modernised in 2017. A blend of antique elements with modern amenities and plenty of comfort creates the ambiance of the apartment, which spans the ground floor and attic. Guests have unrestricted use of the 6,000 m² park-like property. A parking space is located right next to the house, along with storage for bicycles and fishing gear. The holiday apartments are about a five-minute drive from the small town of Schleswig. The nearest shopping area is also about 5 minutes away—in the neighbouring town of Böklund. The Schlei, the “TolkSchau” amusement park, Langsee Lake (500 m away), as well as the Baltic and North Seas, and the cities of Flensburg and Kappeln are all within easy reach. A side trip to Denmark or to the state capital, Kiel, is also recommended as a relaxing day trip. Numerous small roads and trails offer opportunities for extended bike rides or hikes. In addition to the holiday rental, the Brekling House is used as a private residence and office.

The “Park Apartment” is a self-contained holiday rental within the country house. The apartment spans the ground floor and the attic. On the ground floor, the apartment features an open-concept living and dining room with an antique tiled stove, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, and an entryway. The kitchen features an oven with a hob, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator-freezer. Adjacent to the living room is a spacious southwest-facing terrace with a seating area and a grill. The attic level has two bedrooms. One has a double bed, and the other has two freestanding single beds. Both bedrooms are equipped with a TV. The bedroom with the double bed has an adjoining en suite bathroom with a bathtub. There is also a walk-through room on the top floor with a desk and a play area. From the holiday rental, you can look out onto the large, green, park-like garden. The floors are made of oiled wood planks or rustic tiles in warm colours. Large windows let plenty of natural light into the bright apartment. From the spacious terrace, enjoy the rustling of the leaves, the chorus of birdsong, the play of light and shadow, and the view of the trees and the Schleswig-Holstein sky. The apartment includes a very large, fully furnished terrace with a sun lounger, table, and chairs, as well as a grill and a parasol. The entire property, including the grill area and playground, is available for your use. Bicycles and fishing gear can be stored under a lockable roof.
