The "Lameng" holiday home is located on the edge of the forest in the heart of the small town of Schotten, in the Vogelsberg district of Central Hesse. The holiday home itself can accommodate about 4 people, and dogs are also welcome.
The large garden is perfect for barbecuing and relaxing on summer evenings. Nearby attractions include the Nidda Reservoir, Lake Gedern, a golf course, and the Hoherodskopf, which offers many recreational activities. Explore the unspoiled nature of the Vogelsberg on many excellent hiking trails or by bike or mountain bike. Winter regularly sets in on the highest peaks of the Vogelsberg. This makes the Hoherodskopf and the Taufstein ideal destinations for all kinds of winter sports.

The Lameng Holiday Home offers free Wi-Fi and free parking, a large terrace with seating and lounge areas, a fully equipped kitchen with an oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, and electric kettle, a flat-screen TV, 1 bathroom with a shower and 1 bathroom with a bathtub, plus towels and a hair dryer.

You’ll be staying in a beautiful recreational area, just about 500 metres from the starting point of the Nidda Reservoir loop trail. With our Hoherodskopf adventure mountain and its trails, the area is a paradise for hikers, cyclists, motorcyclists, water sports enthusiasts, and skiers. In addition, there is a golf course and a glider airfield in the immediate vicinity.

We highly recommend a visit to our outdoor pool, the bird park, the summer toboggan run, the climbing forest, or our Vulkaneum. In winter, you can enjoy both cross-country and downhill skiing. Schotten offers a variety of options for dining and relaxation, including Italian restaurants, cafés, an ice cream parlour, and a wine bar.

Enjoy relaxing and memorable days in the idyllic Vogelsberg region. A truly unique place to stay!
