Cosy holiday apartment with a view of the Brocken. Our cosy holiday apartment is located on the 5th floor of Building D2 in the Glockenberg Holiday Park. Parking spaces are available right in front of the building, and of course, there is an lift.<br>The apartment is 45 square metres in size and can accommodate 4 people.<br>It features 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a living-bedroom with a 180x200 box-spring bed (full-length mattress), a bathroom with a shower, an open kitchen, a living-dining room, and a balcony with an awning. <br>From the dining table, you’ll enjoy a beautiful view of the Brocken through the panoramic window.<br>Other information: - Very quiet and central location - Please bring your own bedding for blankets, pillows, and sheets (180x200m) - No pets allowed<br>IMPORTANT / PLEASE NOTE:Altenau is a recognised health resort with a therapeutic climate, and a visitor’s tax applies.The town of Altenau charges a visitor’s tax to its holiday guests: Since this is a public levy, you must pay it separately at the thermal baths or at the visitor centre (in town). The payment receipt must be presented to the property manager as proof of payment. Adults pay €2.79 per day and children ages 6–17 pay €1.88 per day. About a 3-minute walk from the apartment is the “Heißer Brocken” crystal spa, featuring numerous saunas, wellness offerings, and various outdoor pools.<br>The town of Altenau is located in the triangle formed by Goslar, Torfhaus, and Clausthal-Zellerfeld. This historic mining town in the Upper Harz region is known beyond the borders of Lower Saxony as a popular spa town, as well as a holiday and winter sports destination.<br>In addition to numerous cross-country ski trails and ski lifts, there is also a toboggan lift here. Great fun—not just for the little ones.<br>A bakery, a newsstand, and the Glockenberg Pizzeria are just a few steps away.<br>Bordering the national park, Altenau and its surroundings offer one of the most beautiful hiking areas in the region. <br>Europe’s largest herb garden invites you to visit. In the town centre, you’ll find a supermarket, a pharmacy, an ATM, a doctor, a dentist, and many restaurants and cafés. <br>In winter, numerous cross-country trails offer endless fun. Two T-bar lifts on the “Rose” meadow provide great opportunities for downhill skiing.
