I could have given 5 or 4.5 stars, but due to some minor details, the TV that I couldn’t get to work. I was inadvertently compelled to use my phone. Oh, wifi works very well too.The space is super clean, communication was at just once slow when needed. The location can be more explicit especially for foreign guests, even the locals didn’t find easy to locate. As for comfort, it was a home away from home.Going in and out was splendidly easy for me because I later found out a friend lives not very far from the property, otherwise, guests will have to rely on taxis.Overall, a great place to stay and I will request for the property in the future, should there be a need.

I have since updated the address and refined the directions with considerably more detail to make the property easier for future guests to locate. My apologies again for the issue with the TV. A new Smart TV has already been ordered and will be installed within the next few days. It is a pity it did not arrive in time for your stay. Thank you also for taking such excellent care of the apartment. You left it exceptionally clean, which was greatly appreciated. I’m delighted that you otherwise found the apartment comfortable and felt at home there. You would be very welcome to stay again whenever your travels bring you back to Antigua.

If your looking for peace and quiet this is it, renting a car is highly advisable if you're looking for food and entertainment, the location is in a very residential rural area. Other than that I give it a solid 10

Why they chose this property

Fitches Creek is one of the things I enjoy most about the property. It is a quiet, established residential community that feels removed from the busier parts of Antigua, while still being conveniently located only about 10–12 minutes from the airport.

The area is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a lovely place to come back to after a day exploring the island. The nearby Fitches Creek waterfront is also a pleasant place for a walk and to enjoy the surroundings.

It is particularly well suited to guests who value peace and quiet but still want convenient access to the rest of the island.

What makes this property unique

The apartment has a relaxed, homely character, with high exposed wooden ceilings, plenty of natural light and a spacious bedroom and living area.

One of my favourite features is the large tropical yard surrounding the property, with coconut, soursop and plantain trees. Guests are welcome to enjoy the outdoor space and the peaceful surroundings.

More than anything, I try to make the experience personal. From refreshments and snacks on arrival to local recommendations and being readily available when needed, my aim is for guests to feel genuinely welcome and comfortable rather than as though they are simply staying in another rental.
