This was a great location for weekend getaway. The kitchen has great stock of dishes and pots and pans. Plenty of room for family of 4 and each kid got their own bed.

Great house
Loved the view of the water, the quiet neighborhood, the spacious living room, giant dining table, the comfortable beds, the open plan.
This was a beautiful, extremely quickly location on the water. We loved sitting out in the evenings, watching the birds and stargazing. It’s also conveniently located to multiple state parks including Deception Pass.I recommend this place to people to want to get up and be on the water early. For everyone else I recommend a sleeping mask, which thankfully I had. The open floor plan was great for us as a couple, but as the only room that completely closes is the bathroom off the kitchen, I wouldn’t recommend it to those who want privacy among their party.Unfortunately among the many quirks of this place was that the back door did not securely latch and was easily opened when locked. According to my locksmith partner, it needs replacing. I also got stung in the living room by a wasp on our first evening there - the house book mentioned they have them from time to time. While I’m thankfully not allergic, anyone who is should bring their meds.

Five star view and location
This is a comfortable well loved home with a welcoming atrium entry, comfortable main living space, a five star view in a perfect
location that met our needs. Some quirks with pocket doors that don't fully close may be an issue for people who prefer more privacy. Also, the backyard area is small and not fenced if you have kids or pups that may wander. Otherwise, the home offers a beautiful space to gather, relax, and enjoy beautiful Whidbey Island.
