Welcome to Haus Adler in Maranza – your comfortable holiday apartment in South Tyrol with a wonderful view of the Dolomites. Our family-run house is quietly and sunny located on the Maranza plateau, right in the heart of the Gitschberg Jochtal holiday region. Here you can enjoy carefree days in a spacious apartment that accommodates up to ten guests – perfect for families, couples or groups of friends looking for nature and relaxation.

The apartment offers several bedrooms, three bathrooms, a large open-plan kitchen and a terrace with a magnificent panoramic view. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine, kettle, dishes and all necessary utensils. Wi-Fi, TV, bed linen and towels are included.

In the well-kept garden with lawn, barbecue area and small natural pond, you can relax, enjoy the sun or end the day peacefully. Dogs are also very welcome – hiking trails and nature start right outside the door.

In summer, you can set off directly from the house for beautiful hikes into the Altfasstal valley, to the Rodeneck-Luson alpine pastures or onto the Gitschberg plateau. Cyclists and mountain bikers will also find ideal conditions. In winter, the valley station of the family-friendly Gitschberg Jochtal ski area is only about 200 metres away. Skiing, snowboarding, sledding and cross-country skiing – all just a few steps from your accommodation.

A special advantage is the Almencard Plus, which is included in the price. With it, you can use all public transport in South Tyrol free of charge, enjoy one free round trip per day with the Gitschberg or Jochtal cable cars (during the periods 29 May – 11 July and 15 September – 7 November 2025), and benefit from numerous discounts at partner businesses such as the Alpinpool Maranza, museums and leisure facilities.

Super Unterkunft

Es begann mit einem freundlichem Empfang. Ein musikalisches Ständchen des Hausherrn machte ihn perfekt. Das Haus liegt sehr schön mit einem fantastischem Blick ins Pustertal. Der angenehm freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber informierte uns sehr gut über das auf uns zugeschnittene Angebot. Wir hatten 4 Zimmer belegt. Die Zimmer und auch die Bäder waren schön und auch sehr sauber. Wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Die Küche war mehr als vollständig ausgestattet. Alles war sauber und funktionierte einwandfrei. Küchenutensilien, die wir vorsichtshalber von zu Hause mitgebracht hatten, konnten wir eingepackt lassen. Auch die Versorgung in kleinen Märkten in der Nähe klappte sehr gut.In den 7 Tagen Anfang Juni konnten wir das Potential der Wohnung (Lage und Möglichkeiten) leider nur zum Teil auskosten. Wenn es uns vergönnt ist, werden wir sehr gerne wiederkommen.

Schöne Unterkunft in guter Lage

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder. Der Vermieter Peter ist sehr nett und herzlich. Die Unterkunft ist für mehrere Personen gut geeignet, da mehrere Zimmer mit Bädern zur Verfügung stehen. Es ist keine abgeschlossene Wohnung, dazu gehört doch eine Stube und eine Wohnküche. Für tägliche Aktivitäten super geeignet. Wir kommen gern wieder, vielen lieben Dank!

Il signor Peter, il proprietario, è stato genitillissimo dal primo contatto telefonico. La casa è davvero stupenda come nella foto e gli interni in legno sono tipici e accoglienti. Letti comodi e camere con vista stupenda. Peter xi ha consigliato posti da vedere e siamo stati benissimo! Il luogo è silenzioso e sicuro... Sembra davvero di stare in paradiso!

Tolle Lage des Hauses bei einem netten Gastgeber

Wir haben eine Wanderwoche Ende Juli 2020 in Meransen erlebt. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter im Vorfeld war aufgrund der "Coronazeit" sehr intensiv und problemlos. Alle Zusagen wurden eingehalten. Haus entsprach der Beschreibung. Sehr angenehm war für uns, dass jedes Pärchen (wir waren insgesamt 6 Personen) ein eigenes Bad (wenn auch 2 Bäder funktionell und sauber, aber altbacken waren). Die oberen beiden Zimmer (auch mit eigener Küche und Bad) waren nicht vermietet, da aufgrund der besonderen Zeiten von uns nicht gewünscht war. Auch diese Zusage wurde eingehalten. Bei Problemen (z.B. Bedienung der Waschmaschine) wurde uns sofort geholfen, auch ansonsten wurden Fragen sofort beantwortet. Bei der Gesamtbewertung haben wir "nur" 4 von 5 Sternen vergeben, da sowohl die Küche für unsere Anzahl von Personen etwas klein und 2 der 3 Bäder modernisiert werden sollten.

we had a wonderful time in summer 2012

My wife and three teenagers/tweens had a lovely overnight stop-over in Haus Adler as we headed to Venice and Tuscany to meet friends for our first (unfortunately last, for college expense reasons) grand European family vacation. Arriving from North Tyrol by car, we arrived to the warm hospitality (and excellent English) of Peter and his wife. The Dolomites were suitably pink from the balcony window, and we were treated to warm South Tyrol hospitality: we were offered the opportunity to watch the Germany/Italy European Cup semi-final, but we decided to head to a restaurant in Meransen to watch the game with a crowd. Half the jerseys were German, half Italian, and a friendly rivalry good time was had by all. I was impressed with our opportunity to connect with the Adlers in such short time (one night), and this memory of the warmth of the South Tyroleans will stay with us. Needless to say, the mattresses and pillows at Haus Adler were excellent, and were followed by a strenuous (but not too strenuous) day hike through the Dolomites en route to Venice. Haus Adler is highly recommended!!

Perfekte Unterkunft

Wir, eine Familie bestehend aus 10 Personen (6 Erwachsene und 4 Kinder im Alter von 5 Jahren bis 13 Monaten), waren in der letzten Februarwoche zu Gast bei Peter im Haus Adler in Meransen. Das Haus und die Wohnung hatten es uns sofort sehr angetan. Wir hatten die für uns ideale Ferienwohnung im ersten Stock gemietet, die aus drei Doppelzimmern mit Balkon, drei Bädern und einem kleinen Zimmer mit einem Stockbett besteht. Alles war sehr ordentlich und sehr sauber. Im Erdgeschoss befinden sich die zur Wohnung gehörende Küche, die sehr modern und optimal ausgestattet ist, sowie der gemütliche Aufenthaltsraum. Da in der Küche nur 4 Personen am Tisch Platz hatten, wurden unsere Mahlzeiten immer im Aufenthaltsraum eingenommen. Besonders gemütlich war es am Abend, wenn der Kachelofen angezündet wurde. Angenehm war auch der sonnige Garten mit Terrasse, wo sich die Kinder gerne aufgehalten haben. Peter ist ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, der das Wohl seiner Gäste stets im Auge hat. Angenehm waren die (natürlich gegen Bezahlung) bereitgestellten Getränke (Apfelsaft, Wasser, Cola, Bier und Wein). So brauchte man sich bei einem längeren Abend keine Gedanken um etwa fehlenden Nachschub zu machen. Das Haus liegt strategisch günstig. Die Skipisten Brunner und Pobist sind in direkter Nähe. Bis zum Bäckerladen sind es 600 m und bis zum nächsten Lebensmittelgeschäft sind es genau 700 m, so dass für die nötigsten Einkäufe das Auto nicht bewegt werden muss. Großeinkäufe wurden in Mühlbach erledigt, wo sich auch eine gute Metzgerei befindet. Alles im allem war es eine sehr schöne Woche und wir können das Haus Adler wärmstens empfehlen.

Tolle Gastfreundschaft in wunderschöner Umgebung

Wir verbrachten als Familie (Eltern, drei Kinder im Alter von 10,12 und 14 Jahren und Oma) wunderschöne Urlaubstage im Haus Adler. Der Empfang durch den Vermieter war außerordentlich herzlich - sogar die Hausmusik fehlte nicht. So fühlten wir uns alle sofort sehr wohl. Das Haus ist teilweise sehr modern (Küche) teilweise noch etwas altmodisch - was aber überhaupt nicht stört. Der Flur wird von beiden Mietparteien genutzt - auch das störte uns nicht. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, das Kaminzimmer sehr gemütlich. Meransen eignet sich als Urlaubsort in Südtirol ausgezeichnet. Die "Highlights" der Region sind mit dem Auto sehr gut erreichbar: Wir wanderten auf der Seiser Alm, im Villnößtal, im Grödner Tal und sogar bei den Drei Zinnen. Für Wanderfreunde besonders interessant ist zudem die Almencard: Die Seilbahnen vor Ort können unbegrenzt genutzt werden. Hiervon machten wir reichlich Gebrauch: Auf dem Gitsch und im Jochtal entdeckten wir wunderschöne Wanderrouten. Es war letztlich ein rundum gelungener Urlaub. Auch aufgrund der sehr herzlichen Betreuung durch den Vermieter fühlten wir uns sehr wohl - wir empfehlen das Haus Adler sehr.

Beste Lage, schönes Haus

Ein schönes Haus in allerbester Panoramalage. Man kann direkt vom Haus loswandern und auch Geschäfte sind in der Nähe. Das Haus hat eine neue moderne Küche, einen Kachelofen und praktische, etwas altmodische Zimmer mit Südbalkon und atemberaubenden Panoramablick. Statt einem Wohnzimmer gibt es das Kachelofenzimmer mit Bänken am Ofen. Mal was anderes! Die Vermieter-Familie ist sehr nett und sehr bemüht. Einziger Hinweis: Das Treppenhaus der unteren Wohnung wird von den Mietern der oberen mitbenutzt (sofern man nicht das ganze Haus mietet), was die Privatheit eventuell etwas einschränken kann. Aber das ist, wenn man den Preis bedenkt, wirklich kein Problem und schmälert nicht den angenehmen Aufenthalt, den man hier erleben kann. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Entspannung

Wir kommen sehr gern wieder!

Wir waren vom 01.bis 04.04.2011 zu Gast im Haus Adler und sind mit insges. 8 Personen (2 Kinder) angereist. Die Kommunikation vor der Anreise per Mail war unproblematisch,auch tel. Rückfragen waren jederzeit möglich, sehr zuvorkommend und ausführlich. Unsere Anreise erfolgte mit dem Pkw,der Ort ist über eine Serpentinenstrasse zu erreichen.Im Winter besteht hier Schneekettenpflicht. Der Empfang durch den Vermieter war sehr herzlich,die Einweisung ins Haus (Müll,Holz für den Ofen,etc.) war sehr ausführlich.Das Haus ist in einwandfreiem Zustand,die Küche im Erdgeschoss ist komplett neu. Wir haben drei Zimmer im ersten Stock (mit WC/Dusche und Balkon)bewohnt,im Erdgeschoss befanden sich Küche,Esszimmer und ein weiteres Bad mit Waschmaschine. Am Samstag haben wir einen Ausflug zum Gardasee unternommen (Riva del Garda), die Fahrzeit über die Landstrasse (Brixen-Bozen-Trient) beträgt ca. 2,5 Stunden und ist landschaftlich sehr reizvoll (viele Serpentinen,Weingüter,Seen).Zu empfehlen sind weiterhin Besuche der Franzensfeste,die Städte Brixen und Bozen sowie Sterzing.Der Ort selbst eignet sich für ausgedehnte Spaziergänge,ganz in der Nähe befinden sich Wanderrouten,Skilifte und Abfahrtsstrecken. Nicht weit vom Haus entfernt (ca. 10-20 min zu Fuß) befindet sich ein großer Kinderspielplatz, eine Tennishalle,eine Schwimmhalle,mehrere Restaurants,ein Cafe,eine Bäckerei und zwei Supermärkte. Am Sonntagabend gab es noch eine kleine Überraschung,die Gastgeberfamilie überraschte uns mit traditioneller Musik. Die Übergabe am Montag war ebenso unkompliziert wie am Anreisetag. Unser Fazit der Reise und der Unterkunft ist ebenso kurz wie eindeutig: WIR KOMMEN GERN WIEDER!

Südtiroler Gastfreundschaft

Der Aufenthalt im Haus Adler hat uns nicht nur aufgrund des fantastischen Wetters gefallen, sondern vielmehr wegen der gastfreundlichen Atmosphäre, mit der uns der Vermieter empfangen und betreut hat. Wir haben die Zeit nicht in der hier beschriebenen Wohnung verbracht, sondern in drei von den vier zur Verfügung stehenden Zimmern (insg. 10 Betten), die sich im ersten Stock befinden und alle Zugang zum Balkon besitzen. Die Matratzen und Decken sind neu und bequem, es ist sehr sauber und die Zimmer vermitteln einen angenehm nostalgischen Charme der Urlaubsreisen in den Siebziger Jahre (Blümchenteppich, Waschbecken im Zimmer, etc.). Im Erdgeschoss befindet sich eine neue Küche mit allem was man so braucht, incl. einem schönen modernen Holzküchenherd und einer sehr gemütlichen holzvertäfelten Stube mit Kachelofen und Wohlfühlgarantie (vorhandenen Fernseher nicht einschalten, besser Wein trinken und sich unterhalten!)
