The directions to the castle were very thorough, Karl- the property manager- was amazing at answering all our questions about the property. He showed us around and gave us a tour. It was such an incredible part of our trip- to stay in an 800 year old castle- I highly recommend this as a place to stay. I should have booked for more than one night.
This is our new favorite place we’ve ever stayed in! It is spacious and beautiful and somehow even better than the pictures. It had everything we needed and is clean and cozy. We’re already hoping we can stay again one day! The host is very kind, responsive, and accommodating and made it easy to find the castle and check in. Truly the perfect place and such a fun experience! Thank you!!
Stayed here for two nights. The place is as pictured. The host was great, he gave us a tour of the rooms upon check-in, then a tour of the whole castle along with its history the next day. There is a restaurant very close by, and walking trails into the heart of the town very near (about a 10-15 minute walk). I would recommend this to anyone wanting to stay in a medieval castle, it was definitely a memorable experience!
