There is a house on the other side. It doesn’t show it in the picture and there’s fences in the backyard on every house and there is steep stairs because the rooms are upstairs didn’t get to use the pool match had some very rude people at the pool clearly did not want us there

Lovely, spacious home away from home

Very inviting and comfortable home in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood. Close to the sights and things to do in Port Isabel and South Padre Island yet a peaceful getaway with a great Bayside view of SPI. We really enjoyed our stay!

Great vacation house

House was so comfortable! It was a great home away from home. The patio facing the bay was fabulous! Everything is close by. I used to stay on the island, and this was our first time staying in Port Isabel. We loved being away from the hustle and bustle of the island. I’ll definitely stay here again!

Lovely little beach house

The bright green house is just lovely and right next to the water . Backyard is cozy with grills and plenty of seating. House itself was great! A little worn in, but hey! It's a beach house. Beds were comfy! Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. HEB is just 5 min. Away . Loved our time at this place .

First timer!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay! The house had every amenity possible, plus things I would not have thought of. The front view and scenery was just what I was looking for. The distance to SPI was perfect! Port Isabel had everything we needed. I was a bit concerned about the construction taking place right next door but since it wasn't bad at all.

Port Isabel Green house!! ❤️ 💚

Cute decorations. Everything you need for a getaway. Spices, cutlery, washer and dryer.... Entry lock a learning curve. Not great for fishing or crabbing. Close to coffee and shopping.

Little Green House

Very nice house complete with most everything you need. February had some chilly and cloudy days and there is no heat so the house was too cold for me. If you stay in the winter months I would advise bringing a space heater.

Bay view home

We had an enjoyable time in Port Isabel and South Padre Island. There are so many fun things to do for all ages. The home had a nice bay view and you could even fish from there when the tide was in. We liked the idea of a pool on site but never had time to use it. The home had everything you would need for a stay, however it was not as clean as I would expect. It was lightly surface cleaned, but somewhat grimy upon closer inspection. Vacasa did ask if the cleanliness was sufficient and offered to send someone to remedy any issues, but once we were there we didn't want to mess with the cleaning people coming back out. Communication from Vacasa was good and they quickly got back to us when we reached out.

The location was perfect. It felt safe and was in a location that had easy access to SPI and groceries. When inside it is quiet, but there is significant road noise from the highway when outside. The pool was lovely. Kids also enjoyed the sport court. The backyard had plenty of furniture, but it needed to be cleaned. There were also 2 charcoal grills. Those were far too greasy and full of ash for me to use. The pergola was nice along with the twinkle lights at night. There is also a kayak for use but it did not have a paddle or a life jacket. You would need to haul it down to the water access by the pier as the gate in the backyard had a padlock and you could not access the water. The house was well stocked. The kitchen had everything one would need. Vacasa even leaves you a starter kit with dish soap, dishwasher detergent and washing machine detergent, along with a kitchen sponge. Bathrooms are stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The master bedroom has an amazing view of the bay. The sheets were worn and itchy. I bought new ones. The bed was comfortable. The house was clean but the dining room chairs need to be replaced. The vinyl on the chairs is ripping. After each use pieces of the vinyl would be on the floor, stuck in the rolling wheels and then would track all over the house. Another review mentioned the furniture being worn. It is. It's time for an update. I’d stay again if they did a few updates.
