Go on long hikes in the picturesque hills or drive to the city of Arezzo. Here you can stroll through charming alleyways and soak up the historic atmosphere. Visit Arezzo Cathedral and take a break in the lively Piazza Grande with its medieval stone houses to drink Arezzo's own Chianti in a café. The medieval pearl of the Chianti region is also known for the film "Life is Beautiful" by Roberto Benigni and the annual Arezzo Wave music festival. The town is situated on a hill overlooking a gentle sea of vines and between the four valleys of Val Tiberina, Casentino, Valdarno and Valdichiana. In the surrounding area you will also find towns such as Città di Castello, Cortona and Umbertide.
