About this property

The vacation home, modernized in 2016, stands separately on the owner's 2500 sqm residential property on the outskirts of the village. It is equipped with a living room (upholstered furniture, flat screen TV, radio/CD, DVD, wood-burning stove), 2 bedrooms (1 x double bed, 1 x rollaway bed for two persons), a kitchen (electric stove with oven, refrigerator with freezer, microwave, dishwasher, various kitchen appliances), bathroom with shower, bathtub and hairdryer as well as electric heating. A crib and high chair can be provided for small children. At your disposal: W-LAN, balcony or seating area on the property, outdoor pool, barbecue facilities, sun loungers, bicycle storage and parking. The total price includes bed linen, towels, final cleaning and water consumption. Electricity/energy are charged on site according to consumption.

Markersbach is a municipality in the Ore Mountains, approx. 20 km north of the spa town of Oberwiesenthal. Several border crossings to the neighboring Czech Republic are also about 20 km away. The village is known for its „Streichholzbrücke“, a 40 m high railroad bridge made of a massive steel construction, which can be experienced with steam locomotives. Markersbach is also home to one of the largest pumped-storage power plants in Europe. Guided tours of the impressive facility are not just for technology fans. For winter sports enthusiasts, there are several cross-country ski trails and downhill slopes with lifts. Equipment can be conveniently hired on site.

Ganz klasse Ferienwohnung mit freundlichen Vermietern. Ländliche Gegend die zum Entspannen, Wandern und Radfahren einlädt. Leckere Erzeugnisse aus eigener Herstellung (Eingemachtes, Dosenwurst...) können direkt und kostengünstig bei den Vermietern käuflich erworben werden. Gaststätte mit günstigen und leckeren Speisen in ausreichend großen Portionen, zu Fuß zu erreichen. Gegend mit bodenständigen, unkomplizierten und freundliche Menschen, da macht jeder Besuch Freude. Ein ganz herzliches Dankeschön für die schöne und erholsame Zeit!
