Wir haben unseren diesjährigen Sommerurlaub im Gailgarten verbracht! Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einer sehr schönen Umgebung mit einem atemberaubenden Panorama auf die Kärntner Berge. Nur wenige Schritte entfernt fließt die Gail, ein glasklarer Bergfluss, in dem man an heißen Tagen schwimmen oder einfach nur spielen und entspannen kann.Die Umgebung bietet Wander- und Radstrecken, die teilweise direkt vor der Haustür vorbeiführen (z.B. der Alpe-Adria-Trail). Auch viele lohnenswerte Ausflugsziele sind gut erreichbar – ob Naturerlebnis, Seen, Bergbahnen oder Orte zum Entdecken.Von Oberschütt ist es ein Katzensprung in die benachbarten Länder Slowenien und Italien.Die Wohnung im OG selbst war groß, hell und grade neu renoviert.Die netten Vermieter standen uns immer mit Tipps für Ausflüge oder einfach für ein Pläuschchen zur Seite. An den Abenden konnte man sich sogar an ein Feuer setzen und den Urlaubstag in gemütlicher Runde ausklingen lassen. Auf dem großen Grundstück gab es eine Tischtennisplatte, eine Slackline, ein Trampolin, einen Esstisch unter einem Baum, einen gepflasterten Grillbereich plus Sitzecke. Die Parkplatzsituation ist optimal.Insgesamt war es ein sehr gelungener Aufenthalt und eine empfehlenswerte Unterkunft.
