Meet Your Hosts: Danny and Karen Click

Danny and Karen Click are lifelong Pulaski County residents who were born and raised in the community they are proud to call home. Family, hard work, and service to others have always been at the heart of everything they do.

Danny teaches construction trades to high school students at the local Career Center, sharing his knowledge and helping the next generation develop valuable, hands-on skills. Karen works part time for the local school district and spends the rest of her time doing one of her favorite things—caring for their grandchildren.

Together, Danny and Karen have two children and six grandchildren. When they aren’t working, they enjoy spending time with family, being outdoors, and making memories with the people they love.

Why they chose this property

For more than 10 years, they owned and operated Click’s General Store on Route 66, where they built lasting relationships with customers, friends, and neighbors. Although closing the store was a difficult decision, they knew it was time to slow down and create something that could grow with their family for generations.

That vision became Click’s Route 66 Cabin Rentals. Built with hard work, family values, and a love for their hometown, the cabins allow Danny and Karen to continue welcoming people to their little corner of historic Route 66. They look forward to sharing the beauty of the Ozarks and helping every guest feel right at home.
