Es wäre von Vorteil, wenn an den Fenstern noch ein Insektenschutz angebracht würde. Da ich schon öfter in Cuxhaven war, war diese Wohnung eine der besten. So wie es aussieht, ist sie auch noch relativ neu. Die Ausstattung und Raumaufteileung ist sehr gut.

Eine gepflegte Ferienwohnung im OG für 4 Personen in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet Sahlenburgs, die alles bietet, was man zum Erholen braucht. Bettwäsche, Handtücher, Badvorleger und Küchenhandtücher kann man extra dazu buchen oder mitbringen. WCpapier, Waschpulver und Spültabs müssen selbst besorgt werden. Bei der Hitze konnten wir die Wohnung tagsüber mit elektrischen Rolläden abdunkeln und abends lüften, als es draußen kühler war. Das Schlafzimmer unter dem Dach war zwar sehr warm und brauchte eine Weile, um herunterzukühlen. Dann ging es aber auch, da es am Meer immer etwas kühler und leicht windig ist. Für Pferdeliebhaber: Es befindet sich eine große Pferdeweide direkt hinter dem Haus. Der Hof, der die Wattwagenfahrten und Ritte am Strand für erfahrerene Gäste anbietet, liegt am Ende des Weges. Das leise Hufgeklapper ist in der Wohnung bei offenem Fenster zu hören und wenn der Wind richtig steht, duftet es draußen sogar leicht nach Stall. Der Strand, die Strandbahn, ein Wäldchen und das Wattenmeerzentrum sind fußläufig in 20 Minuten erreichbar. Auch die Duhner Heide ist nicht weit und einen Spaziergang wert. Zum Wernerwald und der Gastronomie geht man etwas länger. Der nächste Supermarkt liegt am Ende des Weges landeinwärts und ist gut mit dem Rad zu erreichen. Einen Spielplatz gibt es in der Berliner Straße um die Ecke. Die Rezeption und Verwaltung ist jederzeit erreichbar und sehr nett. Wir waren früher da und konnten unsere Wohnung nach Rücksprache schon vor der offiziellen Zeit beziehen. Fazit: Insgesamt empfehlenswert.
