Meeresblick – “Strandbrise”
This modern, high-quality studio apartment, luxuriously furnished with an eye for detail, is located in the “Meeresblick” apartment complex—completed in 2020—right on the beach in Hohwacht. Watch the surf from the apartment or the balcony. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to the impressive cliffs with their magnificent panoramic views. Explore the nearby Sehlendorfer Binnensee nature reserve with its salt marshes and incredible variety of birds. Learn to sail at the sailing school “right outside your door.” Planning a golf holiday? The Hohwacht Golf Course offers 27 excellent holes right on the Baltic Sea.
Enjoy “pure sea” in a light-filled apartment with ceilings up to 3.80 metres high, where both the furnishings and amenities meet the highest standards. Top-notch insulation, highly insulated triple-glazed windows, and underfloor heating are, of course, standard. You’ll be staying in an energy-efficient home where hot water and supplemental heating are provided by solar thermal energy. Environmental protection in action!
It’s just 50 metres straight to the beach. A private beach chair is available for rent. If you’d like to enjoy the day on the 7.50 m² balcony, deck chairs and a lounger are provided for you. Restaurants, the beach promenade, and shops for your daily needs are all within walking distance.
Enjoy an unobstructed view from above (3rd floor). Of course, you can easily reach your apartment by lift.
“Unfortunately, not all apartments in the Meerblick complex have their own parking space directly at the property. However, you’ll receive a free parking pass that allows you to park at any time in the large public car park located right next to the property. Loading and unloading at the building itself is possible at any time. With the parking pass, you can also use all public parking spaces in Hohwacht free of charge.”
This allows you to explore and enjoy Hohwacht’s other beaches as well. Two bicycle parking spaces in a large, lockable bicycle storage room are also available.
The apartment’s colour scheme features modern shades of grey, sand, and white. Twelve studio spotlights brightly illuminate the apartment and enhance the typical studio atmosphere. Numerous antique silver lamps and cosy floor lamps create any desired ambiance. Of course, the apartment can be fully shaded. Electrically operated pleated blinds in the bedroom and living room, along with light-colored pleated blinds on all other windows, protect you from sunlight and provide privacy when desired. The slanted skylights open electrically; a rain sensor closes them when you’re away.
A high-quality built-in kitchen, designed to take advantage of the extra-high ceilings, provides you with every cooking convenience, even while on holiday. Induction stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, glass-fronted cabinets, brand-name glasses (champagne, white wine, red wine, drinking glasses), brand-name dishes, brand-name silverware, and pots and pans of all sizes are provided. The seating area in the open kitchen seats four people.
Make yourself at home in your living room with a view of the Baltic Sea. Enjoy an evening of TV on the cosy grey sofa or watch the unique sunset over Hohwacht Bay from the large studio windows. All the furniture here is coordinated. From the small grey cocktail chair with an antique silver side table to the handmade antique living room table. From the illuminated lowboard to the leather newspaper holder and the antique silver reading lamp. Of course, all the pictures in the apartment are hand-painted originals or original photographs.
The framed pictures, some dating back to the early 20th century, create a special connection between the present and the tradition of the seaside resort of Hohwacht
The bedroom, with its cosy anthracite-colored 1,80-meter-wide acacia wood bed—featuring a faux leather headboard, modern reading lamps, comfortable mattresses, and cosy bedside lamps—is flooded with light from the skylights, yet remains private. A tall, custom-built bedroom closet offers every convenience. Illuminated from the inside, it is equipped with every conceivable compartment, right down to a compartment for jewellery and eyeglasses. Enjoy a day in bed—with TV, of course—even in the bedroom.
In the hallway, next to the beautiful console table with antique lamps, a tall mirror, and an original painting by Ante Potocnjak, you’ll find the large broom closet. Iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, clothes rack, etc. Everything you need!
The spacious bathroom features a large shower, a designer sink, a makeup mirror, a hair dryer, and plenty of storage space for your bathroom essentials.
Enjoy your holiday any time of year in an upscale setting in this lovingly furnished, light-filled, comfortable apartment, “Strandbrise.”
