The accommodations are modernly furnished and nestled amidst the beautiful Dobbertin lake district, with its forests, meadows, and numerous idyllic bodies of water. The nearest lake, Gardersee, is just 300 meters away, allowing you to spontaneously take a refreshing dip or spend a few relaxing hours fishing. Horse riding lessons are also available at the adjacent riding stable (for a fee).

Lohmen is just a short drive from Güstrow, and cities like Wismar, Rostock, and Schwerin can be explored on exciting day trips.

Nearby activities: In Güstrow, 17 kilometers away, the old town impresses visitors with its beautiful half-timbered houses, imposing brick Gothic architecture, and impressive townhouses, Renaissance buildings, and the neoclassical town hall. The 16th-century castle, in particular, lends the town its charm, as it is one of the most beautiful Renaissance buildings in Northern Germany. The town museum, numerous galleries, pretty cafés, and hidden courtyards will make your day trip a wonderful cultural experience.
