Beautiful, rustic, comfortable country house "Iacopo", 150 m a.s.l., surrounded by trees and fields. 4 km from the centre of Montecatini Terme, 30 km from the centre of Lucca, 50 km from the centre of Firenze, in a secluded, sunny position on a slope, 55 km from the sea, in the countryside. For shared use: table tennis. Private: large terraced garden, 2 ha with wildlife garden and trees, natural garden, swimming pool fenced (9 x 4 m, depth 110 - 150 cm, seasonal availability: 25.Apr. - 15.Oct.). Outdoor shower, patio, terrace, garden furniture, pool maintenance by the owner/gardener. In the complex: sauna, steam room, hot tub (all extra). 400 m long narrow motor access (200 m via unmade road). Parking on the premises. Grocery 600 m, supermarket 1.5 km, restaurant 200 m, bus stop 3 km, railway station "Montecatini Terme" 4 km, sandy beach "Lido di Camaiore" 55 km. Golf course (18 hole) 10 km. Local sale of farm products. Attention: The Spa is located in the farmhouse at about 300 m. Restaurant at the farmhouse open one day a week.

Exit to the garden. Small, open kitchen (oven, dishwasher, 4 gas rings, toaster, kettle, microwave, electric coffee machine). Upper floor: 1 room with 1 french bed (160 cm), shower/bidet/WC. Electric heating, air-conditioning. Patio. Barbecue (portable), deck chairs. Beautiful distant view of the countryside. Facilities: washing machine, safe, iron, children's high chair, baby cot for up to 2 year olds. Internet (WiFi, free). Parking (fenced 1 car) at the house. Please note: non-smoking house. Beautifil view on top of mountain

This a very nice tuscan home with a beautiful private pool which was great relaxing one afternoon. It has a great view. You do have to drive a small winding country road to get there but so nice when you get to the top.

Beautifully situated

We stayed in Casa di Iacopo for 10 days, from april 21 to may 1. The views from the terrace are even more beautiful than what you see on the pictures. We have enjoyed the swimming pool a couple of times and were surprised by the possibility of hiking to Montecatini Alto directly from the property. The house has everything one would expect from a holiday destination. We have had several day trips: Florence by train, the rest (Lucca, Pistoia, Populonia, Siena, Vinci, Mugello, Lunegiana and Carrara) by car.

Très jolie vue, maison agréable, accueil charmant

Vue superbe pour cette maison perdue au milieu des champs d’oliviers. Piscine privative agréable. Accueil charmant. Proximité du très joli village de Montecatini Alto et de ses belles terrasses de restaurants. On regrettera juste certaines prestations pas tout à fait en rapport avec le prix de la location comme les chaises de jardin éventrées ou la cuisine un peu old style…

Wegen der Lage 5 Sterne. Toll, mitten im Olivenhain.Ansonsten üblich italienisch mit verbesserungswürdiger Küchenausstattung.Auch müsste mal alles repariert werden, was nicht mehr richtig geht, wie Glühlampen, Kühlschranktüren, Poolbeleuchtung usw.Zufahrt normal befahrbar. Reisetipps: Super als Ausgangspunkt für Lucca, Pistoai sowie Pisa und Meer. Sehr schon der Ort Montecatine Alto. Montecatini Therme eher enttäuschend.

Positiv: Absolut traumhafte Al...

Positiv: Absolut traumhafte Alleinlage in der Natur, gelegen zwischen Olivenbäumen, Orangenbäumen, Kirschbäumen etc. Spektakuläre Aussicht! Sonnenplätze und Schattenplätze vorhanden. Pool sehr schön und gepflegt. Einrichtung in Ordnung.Negativ: wenn es draußen kühl ist, ist es im Haus wirklich kalt, die Klimaanlage, die gleichzeitig auch Heizung ist, hilft nur ein wenig. Vermieter sehr nett, sprechen jedoch nur einige wenige Worte Englisch, daher recht schwierige Verständigung. Küchenausstattung eher spärlich, aber ausreichend. Kein WLAN im Haus wie angegeben, sondern nur beim Haupthaus, was weit weg ist. Kein Safe im Haus wie angegeben (vermutlich auch im Haupthaus vorhanden, wir haben nicht danach gefragt). Insgesamt aber ein toller Ort, um in herrlicher Ruhe Urlaub zu machen (die Autobahn hört man je nach Windrichtung ganz leise, hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört) Reisetipps: –Nach Florenz mit dem Zug fahren, man kann dort kaum parken (ca. 5,50 Euro pro Person und Strecke)– wer mal ans Meer möchte: in Viareggio ist man über die Autobahn sehr schnell, schönes Städtchen mit schönem Strand– Lucca, Siena, San Gimiliagno etc alles in schönen Ausflügen gut erreichbar– unbedingt nach Montecatini Alto hochlaufen (aus dem Gartentürchen raus, ist ausgeschildert, ca 20 min recht stein bergauf): malerisches Bergdörfchen mit super Restaurants, kann man alle empfehlen.

Das Haus ist wunderschön geleg...

Das Haus ist wunderschön gelegen mit einer traumhaften Aussicht. Der Pool ist sehr sauber und die Vermieterin sehr bemüht. Gut geeignet für alle die einen ruhigen Urlaub mit viel Entspannung verbringen wollen. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit allem was man benötigt. Als kleiner Hinweis, die Anfahrt zum Haus ist sehr eng und steil.

Wer in aller Ruhe entspannen will, ist hier genau richtig! Ordentliches und sauberes Haus! Bedingt geeignet für Kinder, da der Pool 20 Treppen tiefer liegt und somit nicht eingesehen werden kann!
