The main house has all hardwood floors through out, with new furniture, beds and beautifully decorated with 5 bedrooms ,2 full baths.Very modern home with all the amenities you will need to have a wonderful stay. One of the best features of the home is modern kitchen, with new cabinets and granite countertops. You will love relaxing on the back deck in the afternoon away from the sun with a glass of wine or breakfast in the morning with a hot cup of coffee, or simply sit in the enclosed front porch with your coffee and watch passers go by. Main house has 5 bedrooms 4 large and one small with 3 queens and 2 full beds with 2 full bathrooms. One of the bedrooms is located on the first floor for anyone traveling with elderly parents. We also have a separate in- law apartment that is now available with the main house ! The apartment has 1 large bedroom, one full bath, large family room with a small fully equipped kitchen for the family that wants a little privacy from all the kids .In law apartment also has a deck for your enjoyment. Large yard for all to enjoy a cookout . Both properties are joined by an enclosed staircase for your convenience. In -Law apartment also has 2 window AC units for your convenience. Main house has central AC .Home has a large driveway to accommodate at least 6 cars and a garage to store all the bikes, surfboard .

All trash must be bagged otherwise company will not pick up. Recycling can just be placed in the cans.

If the mattress pad gets soiled, please notify us ASAP so we can arrange to have new ones for the next family.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

House must be left in the same condition it was given to you . Grill must be left clean. Please do not remove comforters or pillow shams of beds.

No loud Noise after 10:00 PM All trash must be put into bags and into barrels. Trash company will not pick up trash that is not bagged.

Do not move any furniture . all trash must be in bags placed in barrels outside.

Susan's house on Narragansett Ave was a really great and comfortable spot for my extended family - 5 young kids under age of 11 plus 6 adults. We had plenty of space for everyone and the location to the town beach was very convenient. Kitchen was well stocked with what we needed to cook all of our meals and we used the grill most nights! Thanks for a great week at the beach!

Wonderful Property Close to the Beach!

We stayed for a week for our annual family reunion. Susan’s property was spotless, spacious, and had everything we needed for our stay. The check-in process was seamless, and the house itself is spacious enough for everyone to be together but also have space apart. We especially appreciated the in-law apartment, where we could provide some privacy to a family with younger kids. Great Location with Lots of Room for Large Family Vaca

The home was very spacious and comfortable for our family vacation starting with the in-law apartment which was ideal for our young grandchildren and their folks to have a little quiet when needed, a well-appointed kitchen, a comfy living room for relaxing, a sunny windowed front porch for morning coffee, an awesome main floor bedroom plus four more upstairs for the rest of the crew! Just a short walk to Narraganset beach, the nearby marketplace and tower restaurants. The outdoor shower with hot & cold water was really refreshing after a hot day at the beach. Overall, we had a really nice experience and would recommend it to others. Very nice host too!

Great vacation in Rhode Island.

Great beach house

This beach house was a great fit for our family vacation. The in-law apartment was great for my brother and his wife. The deck and grill were great for dinners. The beds were comfortable. We could walk to the beach. Dog friendly. Perfect.

Long time Narragansett renter trying out a new home

Or family has been renting in the pier area of Narragansett for over 30 years. Our family has grown recently with 5 grandchildren under the age of 4! We hoped Susan’s property would do the trick. We couldn’t be happier, plenty of room, clean with a large deck to entertain! And of course location, location… walkable to the beach!

Perfect Wedding Vacation Week!

My bridesmaids and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this fabulous house the week before our wedding! The location is perfect- my friends and family raved about the close walk to the beach (with included beach passes!), the sea wall, local restaurants, and of course, our wedding venue at North Beach Clubhouse! End of summer family time

We had a rough start with hurricane Henri bearing down right towards Narragansett ! Our home owner was very communicative with what was going on there and very agreeable to adjusting our dates, when they had no power, to arrive a couple of days later. We had a wonderful week and everything we needed was at the house- lots of places to hang out and extra in law apartment was very handy to have! Location was great - walkable to beach, restaurants and ice cream. Loved our stay -and the outdoor shower was fantastic!!! highly recommend.

Excellent trip RI

This stay was my husband, 2 children and their families which included our furry grandchild as well (it does not shed). So close to the beach, restaurants, ice cream locations and candy store. We could trust the teens to walk to all of them by themselves. RI is such a friendly place and close to many attractions to drive to such as Newport, the mansions and shopping at the umbrella factory. The house was very accommodating. It was clean and the front porch was very enjoyable. The host was excellent and responded quickly to any questions. The in-law apartment was great for getting away from the hustle and bustle of family for a nice quiet nap. I would recommend this location for a great time in RI.

Narragansett Town Beach House

We had a wonderful time during our stay. Narragansett Town Beach was walking distance and the 4 beach passes was an extra bonus, one you normally don't find in most summer rentals. The backyard was perfect for the younger kids to run around and the large back deck was great for early morning coffee or getting together with the entire family in the evening. The garage was made available for storage and came in very handy for all of our surf boards. The owners were very accommodating. We had an extra vehicle or two several days during the week as we had family come visit for the day. They were welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this home. Our family had a wonderful time

Excellent Stay

Thank you for the opportunity to stay at the location of 67 Narragansett Ave. First, working with the host Susan was awesome. She was very pleasant and informative. She responded to us quickly and answered all questions we had. The home was wonderful for our whole family including the dogs. We really used the apartment section for just sleeping and spent the rest of the time with family in the bigger house. It was clean upon arrival, and it was comfortable and convenient to the beach. Having the beach passes was awesome for some of the family members who did the beach often. Inaccurate description

For the most part, the house is as described. There are 4 bedrooms upstairs (large bedrooms upstairs is a very very ambitious description) and a large bedroom on the main level. The house is well maintained and in close proximity to the beach, on a main street. The outdoor shower is not truly an outdoor shower- the plumbing is there, but it is only hidden by a rod with a small curtain that does not even go the length of the rod. You might think maybe this is no big deal- sometimes families see each other naked. But here is the problem. Overlooking the shower, THERE IS AN OCCUPIED APARTMENT ATTACHED TO THE MAIN HOUSE. Yes, the tenant has a separate entrance. And yes, we did find that he was out for much of the day -sometimes even until 1 am when we could hear him chatting in the street with his friends. He doesn't use the driveway- though he might ask if his friends can, but then you might email his mom (the owner) who will call him to tell him that's not ok, then call you to insist that she isn't deceiving anyone by not putting the occupied apartment as part of the listing. She also might show up as you are leaving to remind you that her son (the tenant) is never around and that he doesn't use the driveway and has a separate entrance. I should mention, though, his outdoor sitting area overlooks the sitting area of the main house (as well as the outdoor "shower") that any potential renter will use. So it's like you're eating dinner with your whole family and also the son of the owner of the property. Cozy.

Hello and thank you for your feedback. Your concerns will of course be taken into consideration, however there are several points in your testimony that need to be addressed. Firstly, regarding the bedrooms- to call our description of the large upstairs bedrooms as "generous" would be quite false. Each of the bedrooms has a queen or double size bed with plenty of room for a vacationer. You rented a beach house, not a palace. The square footage of the home is listed in the description of the property. Regarding the outdoor shower- your feedback states that the shower is only protected by a rod and a curtain. The expectation of complete privacy in an outdoor shower at a home listed as being in the Pier, is absurd. Indoor showers are for privacy, outdoor showers are for washing off the sand which you still managed to track into the house. This resulted in extra cleaning fees, from which I could not deduct from you, as I paid you the courtesy of waiving your security deposit- which was to be paid upon entrance to the home, per our agreement. Regarding the tenant in the home beside you, the tenant gave you full access to the driveway and after politely asking if a friend could park in the driveway, so as to avoid a ticket on the street, he chauffeured his guest to and from a local park and ride so as to accommodate your cars, despite having only 5 in a driveway that maintains 8 cars easily. The tenant did not talk in the street with friends at 1 am. He walked a guest to their car on the street, which is when your "well behaved dog" began barking, as it had been all week. Regarding the disclosure of the presence of this tenant-we are in no way obligated to disclose this information to you as the tenant does not share your utilities, entrance, yard or outdoor shower. Only shared, dormitory style occupancy requires disclosure. As you can see from all of the other testimonies on this site, which were from tenants who rented with the in law apartment occupied, no one has yet to even mention this as a minor inconvenience or assume that privacy was an issue. This said, we are indeed disappointed that you did not enjoy your stay, and would like to offer you an "at cost" rate next summer at any of other properties, all of which do not have an in- law apartment attached. We encourage you to take us up on this offer and hope that you will enjoy Narragansett once again. Thank you

QT at the Beach

What an amazing way to start our much needed summer vacation!! This is our 9th summer and boy was this the best spot!! Walking distance to beach (with beach passes!!), coffee, shops and dining; honestly a perfect stay. Bonus was the in-law apartment which was great for my dad aka Grampy to have a space of his own. All you could ask for!

We stayed at this property with various family members and friends over a two-week period, and our experience was fabulous. The owner is incredibly friendly, responsive and welcoming. The house is well laid out so that interacting with fellow vacationers is super easy both inside and out, while the ability to retreat to your own private space is also available. The location, right in the heart of the Pier area, is ideal - walking distance to the beach and our favorite restaurants. Beds are comfy, kitchen is well outfitted, and the. newly enclosed outdoor shower is really nice. And when we pointed out that the addition of a few hooks to that shower would be a nice touch, wouldn't you know that the owner showed up within an hour to install them!!! The enclosed front porch is a great place to read. We will definitely return!

exactly what we needed

Susan's house was exactly what we needed for our much much needed vacation. She was quick with communication and answering any questions I might have had. The house was bright and clean. The location was absolutely perfect. Due to parking restrictions as a result of COVID-19, we would drop of kids/gear/grandparents and then walk back to the beach. It was practically no time at all to walk back. The beach passes were a surprise bonus! We enjoyed our stay and I would recommend this house to anyone looking for a great week in Narragansett.

Great location

The rental property was in a great location to the town beach and shops. The house was clean and spacious with the additional in-law apartment. Plenty of room in the driveway and backyard. Highly recommended.

Great spot

The house was exactly as described. This is our second year vacationing there. Easy walk to the beach and nearby restaurants, roomy, extra seating on decks and kitchen stocked with the basics.

The BEST beach week ever!

This is the most amazing rental house ever....I highly recommend for a family vacation. To start, the house is amazing. The owner, Susan, has thought of everything. The house is decorated beautifully. It's clean and bright - and comfortable! It's could be in a magazine. The air conditioning is great - perfect after a long hot day in the sun. The beds are comfortable and the layout allows for a bedroom downstairs - perfect for grandparents! The kitchen is complete and there is a washer and dryer (best thing ever). The attached apartment is wonderful! If you have teenagers, this is the house for you!!! It would even be great if you had friends come to visit for a night or two. The apartment area has a living space, kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom - awesome to have a little separate space and still be in one home!!! The house is truly a walk to the beach (no exaggeration here). The owner, Susan, also provides you with beach passes. Which are the equivalent to gold in the summer!!! Some houses just photograph well for the advertisements...but this house not only photographs well, it's actually even better in person. There is ample parking and a great deck fully furnished with plenty of seating and a grill with a full tank of gas. Susan also provided beach chairs so you don't have to lug them from home! As far as the owner, Susan...I've had the pleasure of meeting her in person and she is wonderful. Prior to actually meeting, we spoke on the phone a couple of times and texted. She was more than helpful and accommodating. We've rented from her for a few years now and whenever things came up, she always went above and beyond to help us enjoy our stay even more. This year I asked her if we could check out a little later and enjoy a few more hours walking the shops before we left. She arranged for the cleaning crew to come a little later so we could stay. We were so appreciative! It was on this day that I met her in person and she, like her house, were even better live. All in all I could not recommend this house more. We are already booked for next summer because my family says this week in Narragansett is their favorite week of the entire summer! Cheers!!! to the most beautiful house and kindest owner around!!! I am so happy you loved all the new renovations in the house and especially now that the I law apartment is part of the house. I always look forward to your family coming for the week and look Ford to you coming next summer. The central AC was a Definite plus’s to the house along with all the new bathrooms and new furniture , so happy you love it.

Why they chose this property

We loved how close it was to our favorite Narragansett Town Beach and that we are able to just park our car and walk. We loved the beautiful layout of the house with the large kitchen , large porch ,and the enclosed all season room. We also liked the idea of having an in law apartment that we can share with you which makes it easy for the large families.. The large yard was an added bonus and the beautiful large decks a definite plus for the house.

All new,with beautiful furniture, beds, and being able to park your car and walk to the beach. We love having a large bedroom on the first floor and a full bath to accommodate to families with elder parents. We also provide you with 8 beach chairs for your convenience .
