The popular Gendarmstien hiking trail, which stretches over 84 kilometres, runs right by the house. You are also only a short distance from the picturesque town of Gråsten with its impressive castle. The charming towns of Sønderborg and Flensburg are also within easy reach and offer a wide range of shops, restaurants and cosy harbour environments.
