Rent a Harzblick with Schmidt

This unique lodging has a style all its own. It consists of two-story cars with a converted attic, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a hallway closet.

You can get groceries at the supermarket around the corner.

Free parking is usually available, but cannot be guaranteed since it is a public space. However, there’s usually always space for at least 2 or 3 cars.
The Accommodation
A large double bed awaits you in the converted attic. In the living and dining area, you’ll find a cozy sofa, a dining table, and a loft bed. If you need another sleeping spot, there’s an extra mattress or the large sofa can serve as an additional sleeping area. We charge the rate for 2 people; each additional guest pays 15€.

Although the bathroom is quite small, it has everything you need: a shower, toilet, and sink, as well as a hair dryer, shampoo, and other toiletries.

The kitchen, equipped with two stovetops, an oven, a fridge-freezer, and a basic set of pots, pans, and cooking utensils, lets you whip up a delicious meal. However, you’ll still need to wash dishes by hand, as the dishwasher is currently broken and needs to be replaced.
A Senseo Caffissimo coffee maker is available for breakfast.
Salt and pepper are provided.
You’ll need to purchase coffee capsules and other groceries yourself.

There is a small hallway between the rooms. In the stairwell, there is a coat rack for jackets and enough space for shoes.

The entire apartment is a smoke-free and pet-free area.
Guest Access
Access is via the front yard, up a few steps into the stairwell. The apartment itself is on the 2nd floor. The stairwell and the front door can be locked separately.
The Airbnb is located in a single-family home divided into 3 apartments, each on a separate level.
Additional important information
Bedding, towels, a hair dryer, shampoo, and other toiletries are provided.
Cleaning and dishwashing supplies are also provided.
Please bring your own comb/hairbrush, toothbrushes, and toothpaste.

There are 4 sleeping spots available in beds. It is possible to provide two additional sleeping spots. The sofa offers one option, and there is also a mattress for the floor.

Since installing roller blinds is not currently cost-effective, the rooms are currently equipped with thick, light-blocking curtains for blackout purposes. Anyone who is extremely sensitive to light should bring a sleep mask just in case.
An S-Bahn line runs some distance away and ceases operation at 11:00 p.m. Although you can barely hear it—and only if you’re paying attention—I’d still like to mention it here.

Starting at 26.07.2025, all guests must pay a visitor’s tax in Halberstadt.

Rates per night:
Adults 18 and older: 2.50
Children ages 7–17: 1.30€
People with severe disabilities (50% or more): 1.30€
People with severe disabilities & children up to age 7: free

The Halberstadt Ticket is available on the dining table. Prices are based on the number of people and nights. The white slip is your ticket for the bus and streetcar; please put the pink and yellow slips, along with the KurTax amount, into the piggy bank.
