If you really want to experience Föhr, come to Oevenum. Nestled in the heart of one of the island’s most beautiful Frisian villages lies the “Ankerplatz”—a modern, newly built holiday apartment that truly lives up to its name: Here, you arrive, let go, and will want nothing more than to stay.

Spanning about 50 m², this tastefully furnished apartment for two combines stylish design with genuine comfort. The open kitchen with a view into the living room, the cosy sofa area, underfloor heating, and high-quality amenities create an atmosphere where you’ll feel right at home. The separate bedroom with a double bed, blackout curtains, and a closet ensures restful nights.

A particular highlight: the sunny southwest-facing terrace with patio furniture, a windbreak, a parasol, and a gas grill—your own private outdoor space for breakfast or balmy evenings under the Frisian sky. A garden shed with a power outlet is available for storing your bicycles, and a private parking space next to the house is also provided.

The idyllic village of Oevenum, with its thatched-roof houses, small cafés, and the nearby golf course (approx. 300 m), is quiet yet well-connected: You can reach Wyk by bike in about 10 minutes on a beautiful bike path away from the road, and two bakeries are just a few minutes away. The beach is about 3.4 km away.

Travel together while still maintaining your privacy: “Der Ankerplatz” can be booked together with the neighbouring holiday rental “Heimatliebe”—ideal for two couples or groups of friends who want to share a holiday but still enjoy their own private retreat.

Please note: Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in this accommodation.

You’re welcome to bring your own bed linens and towels. Alternatively, you can conveniently book laundry packages for an additional fee.

Key pickup is available Monday through Saturday between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM—and, upon request, we’re happy to arrange a hassle-free contactless pickup. Check-out is by 10:00 a.m. To ensure you can relax and enjoy your holiday from start to finish and make the most of your time with us, we’re happy to offer early check-in or late check-out upon prior arrangement and for an additional fee.
