Ein Besuch ist es wert. Man muss ein paar Abstriche machen und mit dem ein oder anderen Besucher leben. Aber wer nicht etepetete ist kommt damit klar. Im hinteren Aussenbereich bitte immer die Kinder beaufsichtigen.

Die Wohnung gefiel uns sehr gut. Es gibt einen großen Bereich mit Wohnzimmer und dem Küchenbereich plus gemütlicher Sitzecke. Von dort blickt man in den sehr gepflegten Garten und in die scheinbar endlose Weite der Marsch. Sonnenuntergang in der Ferne inklusive. Ein wunderbarer Ausblick ! Absolute Ruhe und Stille bei Tag und Nacht. Als wir unsere kleine Auszeit dort hatten , waren dort noch keine anderen Gäste mit Kindern. Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem Aussiedlungshof. Also vom Ort Midlum aus ( bei Anreise mit Gepäck ) nur mit dem Auto aus zu erreichen . Nachdem wir in früheren Jahren oft mitten in Wyk , Wrixum oder Nieblum Urlaub gemacht haben ( mit kleinen Kindern und später ohne ) war der Aufenthalt hier in einer ganz anderen Gegend der Insel ein neues , aber tolles Erlebnis. Der Blick in diese endlosen , grünen Felder mit Kühen und Pferden , diese Ruhe , Stille , ist wirklich wunderschön. Man kann meilenweit mit dem Fahrrad fahren . Der Bäcker ist nicht „um die Ecke“, aber man kann bekanntlich nicht alles haben.
