Rather filthy than cozy: a total rip off!

It was a sheer horror. Upon arrival, we had to realize that the apartment was uncleaned and filthy. Hair and used toothbrush of our predecessors was in the bathroom, the washing machine filled with dirty laundry. On the other hand, there was one used towel for three guests. There was still trash in the kitchen whose surfaces were sticky. The floor was also dirty. The icing on the cake were the unmade bed stained mattresses. The host took some time to react and send a cleaner who was helpless, though as there was no materiel such as clean sheets, towels. We are not overly sensitive, but this was clearly unacceptable and we therefore went to a nearby hotel instead. The host was unresponsive and has refused a refund apart from the cleaning fee which he would have had to pay anyway to make the place habitable. We strongly advise to stay away from this place in order to save your nerves and money. Clear words, but absolutely appropriate.
