Located in the heart of Bohnert, this small holiday home serves as a central starting point for planned Nordic walking, hiking, and biking tours, while also offering a wonderful, peaceful place to relax and recharge. The terrace and the beautifully maintained garden, in particular, will help you quickly forget the stresses of everyday life.

Bohnert itself is one of the picturesque Schlei villages located southeast of the Schlei, which also includes the nearby towns of: Kosel, Missunde, and Weseby. Each of these villages is worth a visit—for example, the Marina Hülsen holiday resort or the New Marina.

The kitchenette is equipped with everything you need to prepare your meals. Enjoy your meals right there on the cosy bar stools in the open kitchen or, when the weather is warmer, on the patio directly to the right of the cottage. The kitchen counter separates the kitchen from the rest of the living area, where the large double bed is located. Right next to the sleeping area is a door leading to the bathroom, which features a shower, sink, and toilet.

You can park your car right in front of the house or in the double garage. There is also space there for bicycles, e-bikes, and similar items you bring with you. You can also charge your e-bikes in the garage.

One small dog with a height at the withers of 40 cm is allowed and can be booked as an add-on. Please note that the property is not completely fenced in.

And one more note: The “Landhaus zur alten Kastanie” and the “Kastanien-Cottage” can also be booked together, offering plenty of space for gatherings with family or friends of up to 10 people and 2 toddlers. The Schlei, adorns the villages along the estuary of the Baltic Sea and is only 1.2 km from the Kastanien-Cottage and the Landhaus zur alten Kastanie. There’s a bakery, a supermarket, and a restaurant 4 km from Bohnert. This quiet and relaxed little village is also a great starting point for fabulous bike rides and wonderful hikes through the Schlei villages in the surrounding area.
The Schlei, which is also very popular with water sports enthusiasts, offers several swimming spots at various distances; the closest is just 1.2 km from Bohnert.
Throughout the Schlei region, there are additional destinations to explore, such as the charming Schlei towns of Kappeln and Arnis, Germany’s smallest town.
The nearest major cities, such as Kappeln and Schleswig, are easily accessible by car or the Smile24 shuttle.

The minimum stay is 7 nights during the high season and 4 nights during the low season.


The mandatory final cleaning service is automatically included in the total price for the requested stay via our price calculator.


Optional linen sets: €20.00 plus tax per person for bed linens, €10.00 plus tax per person for towels: order these directly when booking via the booking form. Alternatively, you can also bring your own linens and towels.


Pets: €10 per night (max. 1 dog). Cats are not permitted!
