Merzig-Hilbringen is located in the heart of the border triangle, near the borders with France and Luxembourg.

Hilbringen has a well-developed infrastructure, including an primary school, childcare facilities, doctors, restaurants, snack bars, bakeries, a pharmacy, banks, an auto repair shop, a flower shop, and a petrol station.

The primary school and public bus stops are located nearby.

The green, nature-rich area and the nearby Saar River invite you to go hiking and biking.

From the adjacent Nackberg, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view.

In the nearby harbour area, you’ll find plenty of recreational options (a swimming pool with a water park, a climbing centre, the Maisalm, a tent palace, tennis courts, trampolines, etc.) as well as the Merzig Brauhaus and other restaurants (Zum Skipper and McDonald’s).
