The historic ambiance of the former Grand Hotel—now known as Grand Living—combines Art Nouveau charm with modern comforts. Here you’ll find the perfect place for relaxing short getaways or restful long-term stays. Many famous people before you—including Kaiser Wilhelm II, the Grand Duke of Hesse, Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, and others—have stayed here.

The Accommodation
This charming vacation apartment is located on the 3rd floor of the stylish building and is easily accessible via a barrier-free main entrance and an elevator. The building’s accessibility throughout ensures comfort for all guests.

Upon entering the apartment, you can hang your coat in the hallway and slip into the slippers provided for you.
The spacious window wall in the living room offers a picturesque view of the Johannisberg, including the Johannisberg Café and the small park right outside the front door.

In the spacious, light-filled living room, a large sofa invites you to put your feet up and relax. Enjoy your favorite shows on the 65-inch TV with over 100 channels, as well as Netflix, Disney+, and RTLplus.

But perhaps you’d like to have a drink or something to eat first. The spacious kitchen is a dream come true for home cooks and is equipped with everything you need for cooking and baking. The dishwasher (Siemens) takes care of the dishes for you. The kitchen features a high-performance stove and oven (Siemens) with a built-in microwave, as well as a large refrigerator and freezer.

The dining table offers plenty of space for social evenings with up to four people.
Or you can use the space as a home office. There are plenty of electrical outlets, and the Wi-Fi (Telekom) with 100 Mbps bandwidth guarantees a stable connection for data transfers or Zoom meetings.

From the living room, you have direct access to the cozy bedroom, which is furnished with a comfortable box spring bed (1.80 m) featuring an electrically adjustable slatted frame for personalized sleeping comfort. Several pillows and allergy-friendly bedding ensure that you can make yourself truly comfortable. We provide different duvets depending on the season.
Each nightstand features several ports for charging your electronic devices.
The large, mirrored wardrobe with sliding doors offers plenty of space for your luggage.

Additional sleeping options are available in the living room: Choose between the pull-out sofa bed (140 x 200 cm) or the full-size fold-down bed with a slatted frame and mattress (200 x 140 cm)—ideal for families or friends.

The classically furnished bathroom features a spacious shower, a raised toilet with grab bars, a wheelchair-accessible sink, and a three-part mirror cabinet.
A hair dryer, a cosmetic mirror with 10x magnification, and 2 towels per person are also provided.

Directly across from the bathroom is the convenient laundry room with a washer and dryer.

In the bike storage room, you can safely and securely store your bicycles or e-bikes or charge them.
